Chapter 23: Hope? {Part 2}

"I'LL KILL YOU!"

'All I need is Darkness.'

*PUNCH!

'The more I hold it in...!'

*PUNCH!

'...the more and more darkness will come out.'

*PUNCH!

'I'll let myself go...'

"MIKEY STOP!!"

'...until Kazutora is killed.'

"MIKEY, KAZUTORA'S DEAD ALREADY!...

BOTH OF THEM ARE ALREADY DEAD!"

"MIKEY!" Kisaki's voice cuts Manjiro's trance of past memories.

"What?" Manjiro replies, sitting in front of all Toman as they go on with their meeting.

"Are you even listening?" Kisaki asked.

Manjiro closes his eyes, responding, "Continue..."

Kisaki nods as he motions his hands to let their Captains continue their report. But Manjiro can't seem to focus no matter how much he tries to.

[Mikey]

A voice whispers in his ears, making his eyes open in shock. 'It's that voice again.'

"Mikey" "Manjiro" "Mikey"

Manjiro stood up abruptly, making all of Toman's members look at him in confusion. 'They're here.' He thought. "I'm tired." He said, walking down the stairs. This action made all of Toman's member mumble.

But Kisaski knows what's going on and leave him be. "LET'S CONTINUE!" He orders. Everybody stops, not wanting to complain.

Manjiro rides his motorcycle, going to Tama River. He steps down, going down at the grassy hill. He lays down, staring at the blue sky above. Then he closes his eyes to rest. 'Brother, Draken, Baji.... Kazutora...' he thought as he sleeps, wanting to be visited again.

"Baji get ready. "Ken said, kneeling at the left side of sleeping Manjiro.

Keisuke nods, sitting on Manjiro's right. Shinichiro standing on the side.

'Manjiro...no matter what, please don't lose hope.' Keisuke thought as his vision starts to change. The three ghosts going in to Manjiro's dream land.
