Chapter 5: A Family's Love

*RING! *RING!

A sound of an alarm clock resonates the bedroom, making a beautiful woman wake up. She gets up to get ready for her 9 hours of work in a company that barely give their employees their full pay. She does her morning routine, take a bath, brush her teeth, make breakfast for both her and her son, then gets ready for work.

Mizuki Hanagaki, a beautiful single Mother. Raven hair with big oceanic eyes. Having the same features as her son. However,the only difference is that her son's eyes have more sunshine and brightness in them, while her eyes have tiredness, exhaustion. She has deep dark eye bags under her eyes.

She went to check on her son. She peeked at her son's baby blue room. There he was, peacefully sleeping. She went in and aproached her son, kissing him in his forehead. "Sorry baby. You may not see Mommy every morning you wake up and every night you sleep, but please remember that I Love you." she gently whispers at her son, not knowing that her son was awake. "Bye bye my baby" she once again kisses her son in the forehead, exiting the room after closing the lights.She leaves a note for her son then goes to work, leaving her son alone in their cozy home.

'I Love you too, Mommy' Takemichi thinks, forcing himself not to cry. She always whispers to him, unknowingly making her son touched and feel loved. But always alone.

"She's gone Takemichi-kun!" someone whispers.

Takemichi opens his eyes "Yeah". He sits up then stared at the ghost in the corner of his room.

"Takemichi-kun, your Mother cares for you so much" the ghost said smiling at him.

"Hmmm! Mommy always works hard for me. But sometimes I want her to take a break and rest, then maybe spend time with me." Takemichi says smiling sadly. "But then again, even if I say that to her, she wouldn't listen." he added, his eyes starts to tear up. "*Sniff! *Sniff! I'm sorry I might sound like selfish person, Akane-san"

"Its okay, being selfish is good sometimes. Everybody is selfish in their own way." Akane said still smiling. She sits down beside Takemichi, then hugs him. Though Takemichi only felt cold air, Akane's presence were warm so it doesn't matter. He still feels Akane's care.

After getting Akane free from the 'haunted house', Miko-sensei suggested Takemichi to be the one to help Akane. It's for his training and for his first experience as an exorcist. Miko knows he's still young, but she trusts him. But she didn't forget to tell him that if he needed help, he should ask for it, which the young boy happily said yes.

FLASH BACK AT THE 'HAUNTED HOUSE':

"For you to be free, we need something that is very precious to you or you once own from this house. So we can put a charm in it, that way you can follow any exorcist who have it on possession." Miko explained to Akane how they'll free her.

Akane thinks for a while, 'Something thats precious?' her eyes widening as she remembers it. She ran quickly to her bedroom as she calls for the two to follow her.Miko and Takemichi followed behind. They found Akane on a room, she was pointing at something.

"Under the bed, you'll find a wooden box with a sunflower designs." she said at she looked at Takemichi.

Takemichi approached the burned wooden bed and knelt beside it. He lowers his head as he searched under the bed for a wooden box. He smiles as he found something very colorful. He reached beneath the bed to retrieve it, then got up. After grabbing it, he inspects the box. He blew it away because it was covered with dark ashes. He saw a beautiful sunflower, painted in the lid then rainbows at the sides.
