Things Are Getting Interesting..

~The Next Day~

Selena met Kane on her way to school,so she walked with him.

"Selena." Kane started to speak "Want to..do..something today ?To celebrate us becoming friends again.."

Selena was day-dreaming. "Huh ?Did you say something ?"

"Um,I wanted to know if you wanted to do something today to celebrate our friendship."

"Oh !Sure !After school,right ?"

Kane hesitated for a second then nodded "Yeah.After school.Let's meet behind,okay ?"

"Mhm."

Kane and Selena soon reached their school and Aaron approached them along with Takeru and Maria.Takeru pulled Selena aside.

Takeru whispered into Selenas ear "So,are you guys dating or what ?"

"Dating ?!" Maria popped up from behind Selena. "Are you guys ?"

"Maria,shut up !Not so loud !They'll hear !" Takeru placed her finger on her mouth.

"Sorry..But are you guys ?"

Selena felt embarrassed and she shook her head "No..I don't even know how to date someone.."

Maria patted her on the back "Well,you'll find out soon enough and the person who's going to teach you is him." Maria bobbed her head towards Kane. "Oh.I also have to ask you guys something.My sister is having her birthday party today and I don't want to be the only kid there.She said I could invite some friends,wanna go ?Luhan's coming and it's really important.We have to go there right after school to help set up."

"Luhan ?Who's that?" Takeru tilted her head in confusion.

"Oh.Did I not tell you guys ?" Maria put her hair behind her ear "He's..he's my boyfriend.." She said as she smiled and blushed a little bit. "So anyway,you guys coming or what ?"

"I'm coming.With Ochi of course." Takeru smiled happily "You're going too,right Selena ?"

"Um..uh..sure.I'll go." Selena felt something was missing 'did I already plan something ?It feels..wrong..'

"Okay !So let's meet up at the park after school." Maria nodded along with Takeru.

~In School~

"Selena.Selena ~~" Maria whispered over to her "Selena,are you listening to me ??"

Selena blinked and she looked at Maria.She rubbed her eyes and yawned a little and sat back in her chair,looking around "what is it ?" She whispered back at Maria.Then,she saw Kane.He noticed her and smiled brightly,then waved.She did the same.

"You're not acting like yourself.Did something happen ?You day-dream more and you look like you didn't get enough sleep with the way you're acting." She placed her hand on top of Selenas "are you going to be okay at the party ?You might faint there or something." She felt Selenas forehead and it was perfectly normal.

"I'm fine..I just can't wait for after school." Selena weakly smiled.Maria went back to doing her work,but Selena couldn't do the same.She kept thinking about Kane and without herself knowing,she would glance up at him every one minute.

~After School~

'After school..the park..Marias birthday party..' Selena said in her head as she walked to the park.Then,she stopped.Her eyes widened and she turned back around and started running to school. Kane was waiting behind the school,pressing his back against the wall "27 minutes..she's 27 minutes late.." Kane looked at the ground and mumbled "I guess i'll leave.." Kane pushed himself off the wall and grabbed his backpack from the ground.Kane sighed. and he started walking off in the other direction from school when he heard a faint calling from behind him.He quickly turned around,and there he saw Selena,running at him while she was gasping in air.

"Selena.." Kane whispered to himself.He smiled a bit.Selena finally reached Kane and she put her hands on her knees and started breathing heavily

"I-i'm sorry..Kane.." Selena took in deep breaths as she stood in front of him "I hope..i'm..i'm not late.." She looked up at him and weakly smiled.Kane approached her and slid his fingers through her hair "It's alright..I don't mind.." Kane took a strand of her hair and held it up to his cheek.

"K-kane..?" Selena became confused and her heart started beating.Kane's head bolted up and he let go of the piece of hair "I'm sorry !" He covered his blushing face with his right arm.Selena finally caught her breath and she gently took his hand and pushed it down "It's okay.I don't mind.Um,would it be okay if I use your phone ?Mine ran out of battery." She said as she held up her dead flip-phone. "Sure." Kane nodded and grabbed his phone from his left back pocket.Selena took the phone and started typing a number on in.

'Hello..?' The voice on the other end spoke. "Hey Takeru,can you tell Maria I can't go to the party ?Please ?" Selena gripped onto the phone. 'Selena ?!Is this you ?!Why can't you go?Did something happen ?' Takeru's voice spoke. "Nothing happened.It's just..I can't make it.I don't fit in in those type of things anyway.So tell Maria,okay ?Thank you and bye." She hung the phone up and handed it back to Kane.

"So,shall we go ?" Kane's face was bright pink. "To where ?" She asked curiously. "Anywhere.I'm fine just walking around as long as we're together." He tilted his head and grinned.Selenas face turned pink and she looked away "O-okay.." She nodded "Let's go then.."
