'I can't believe Kane is still ignoring me !Also,Aaron seemed so sad...' Selena thought to herself.She was sitting beside Maria under a shady tree.
"What's wrong,Selena ?" Maria noticed her.
"Nothing..."
"Nothing ?"
"Nothing."
"Come one,i'm your friend and I can tell when you're lying.Now,tell me what actually happened to you." Maria crossed her arms and leaned over to Selena.
"I said nothing.."
"Selena !" Maria yelled her name,causing Selena to jump up. "You're never going to solve your problems like this !You can't just sit there,be sad and tell others your 'fine' when you're not !Do you know how much pain you're going to cause your friends,Takeru,me ?It's not just us you're hurting,it's you as well !Telling yourself over and over 'i'm fine' is not going to help you one bit !It's just going to make you sad and stuck in time !You have got to get over this and talking to me is going to help !Now,out with it !"
Selena sat there,frozen.She never knew Maria would say these type of things to her.She thought Maria was going to understand that she just wanted to be alone.But,She knew that being alone wasn't going to do anything for her.Selena felt a drip of water run down her cheek. "I'm sorry.." Those were the only words she could make out."I'm sorry..i'm sorry !I don't deserve a friend like you !I..I just..I can't take it anymore !" She shoved her head into her hands.
"What ?!What happened ?!Tell me everything !!" Maria patted her back.
"I..I don't understand,Maria !Every time Kane gets near me,talks to me or touches me,my hearts starts to speed up.When he ignores me and hangs out with other girls,my stomach hurts and my heart starts to throb!I also hurt Aaron !I'm such a terrible person !This is my first time feeling this way !I just can't take it !I want these feelings to disappear !"
"Selena.." Maria felt bad for her."It'll be okay.Kane probably has a reason for ignoring you.Just talk to him.As for Aaron,forget him.He'll feel better.He's that type of person,after all." Maria smiled at her and started wiping Selenas tears.'Selena will never understand..even if I explained to her over and over again,that shelikes Kane..'
"Hey buttwipes !We're playing soccer here !Not be-lazy-and-roll-around-on-the-floor !" Orihime stood above them,hand on hip.
"Give us a minute,Orihime.We're kind of doing something right now." Maria looked up at her.
"Do I look like I care ?No.Now get your butts to the field !Idiots.." Orihime walked off.
"What's her problem ?Geez." Maria stood up. "Let's go,Selena" She held a hand down for Selena to grab.
"Okay.." Selena grabbed her hand and walked to the field with her.
~On the Field~
"Okay !Team 1 is Kane,Orihime,Aaron,Cole,Jax,Lin,Sasha,Marisa,Hilary,Bill,Kris,Terrance,Colins,Faythe,Igor,and Selena.Team 2 is Maria,Lory,Gally,Newt,Jenny,Chuck,Alby,Meranda,Sam,Jasper,Cassy,Hailey,Nicole,Justin,Kyle,and Camille.Remember,no rough-housing and we're here to have fun !" The teacher set the ball up in the middle.
"I'm team captain !Call it !" Hilary-a girl with light brown hair and hazel eyes- jumped around raising her hand."Here are the positions !Orihime and Aaron,mid-fielders.Kane,Selena,and Colins,defenders.Terrance,goalie.Faythe and I,strikers !Lin and..." Hilary continued on and on.
"Wait !I'll be defense instea-" Orihime started to speak but got interrupted.
"Hey !Time to start the game !" Maria was waving her hand.
