"Kane !" Selena met him when walking to school once again.He waved at her and she waved back. "Hey Selena !" He smiled and walked over to her,along with his little brother. "So..about yesterday.." Kane coughed,blushing."Oh !It was fun !" She lit up."R-really..?You weren't disturbed that people thought we were a..couple.." He scoffed."C-C-C-Couple...?!?!?" Selenas face turned bright red "But it's not true right...?So i'm fine with it..". Kanes face saddened a little.

As they were walking,Kane heard faint footsteps behind them and he turned around "Hey Selena..Isn't that Aaron and..Orihime ?" Selena nodded "I think so." She squinted her eyes and she saw Orihime slap Aaron. "Let's just get to school."

~At school~

"See you in class." Selena walked away from Kane and went over to Takeru and Maria. "So." Maria placed her hand on her hip "You guys are walking to school together now,huh ?".Selena slowly nodded "yes..".Orihime walked past them and Selena saw her "O-Orihime !" She grabbed her arm. "What do you want ?Let go of me !"

"Why were you..walking with Aaron this morning..?"

Orihime snorted "Why do you care ?It's not like you like him or anything.Who would want you ?" Selena released her and she walked away.Selena felt as though she was about to cry.

~In Class~

Selena looked around the classroom and spotted Aaron sitting on his desk,talking to Orihime.'Why is Orihime always with Aaron ?' She shook her head and Kane went over to her desk "Hey Sel !" He brightly smiled. "Hey Kane.." she faintly smiled at him.

"What's wrong ?"

She shook her head "I'm fine.Why do you ask ?" He looked down at the floor "Oh..nothing..So anyway,wanna go somewhere after school again..today?" He turned a light pink.

"Sure." She nodded.

~After School~

Selena waited after school,at the usual place,behind the school.When her phone rang,she picked it up "Hello ?" She talked through the phone.

"Selena !The teacher told me to do something so you can go to the place before me.Sorry for having to make you wait !!" It was Kanes' voice at the other end of the cellphone.

"...Alright..But where ?"

"Mcdonalds..or pizza pizza if you prefer it better."

"I'll wait at Mcdonalds.."

"Okay.Sorry again for making you wait !I'll message you when i'm close to there."

"I don't mind.I'm walking there now.Bye"

"Bye.Be safe !"

Selena hung up and walked through the park-way.A few minutes later,she arrived and took a seat in one of the booths at Mcdonalds.At the same time as she arrived,Kane just finished his chore and was running there but through the roads. 'I hope he doesn't come too late..' Selena thought to herself.When she looked out the window,she saw Aaron and Orihime walking together,again. 'Those two again..' She checked her phone too see if she got any new messages.

Kane was running,no,sprinting,towards her. 'I gotta get to Selena..make sure she doesn't wait for me long..' He thought as he took in a deep breath and ran.He didn't pay much attention and he ran when it said 'no-walking'.He heard a car horn and stopped and turned his head.His eyes widened,a truck was zooming right at him,and Kane was hit.

Selena repeatedly kept looking down at her phone,seeing if there was a message from Kane.Nothing.She waited for over half an hour and decided to call his phone.But no one picked up.So,she called his home phone.She walked outside and put her back against the wall as the phone rang and someone picked up.

"Hello ?Who is this ?" A light voice spoke.

"Um,I'm Selena.Kane's classmate.Is Kane there ?"

"Kane ?Did you not hear ?!He's in the hospital.." Selena heard a sniff from the phone.Once she heard the news,her whole body froze.

"T-the hospital..?Why is Kane...there ?"

"He..got into a car accident..we're going to the hospital now.." The voice on the other end started crying.

"Kane..got into an..accident..?" The phone slipped through her hands and hit the floor.

"He's in very..hic..bad condi..sniff...condition the doctors..sniff..said.."

Selena fell to her knees and she slammed her hands into the ground,punching it.She was upset 'Why him ?!Why Kane ?!' She thought as a tear fell onto the floor,and then another,and another.She wiped it away.

"H-hello..?Are you still..sniff..there ?"

She grabbed the phone off the floor "Where is this hospital ?!" She raised her voice into the phone.The person on the other end gave her the address and she wasn't very sporty,so she was running there,trying her best,almost tripping many times 'Kane..Kane i'm coming..please..please hand on until I get there...' She gripped onto the phone and tripped over her bag,but getting up again.She got to the hospital with many bruises and scratches,even bleeding a little and in pain.But she didn't care.She rushed into the hospital without taking a breath and saw Kane's family sitting beside the door where he was.She stopped and finally took in a breath.

She looked at the family,the father,the mother,and the little brother.She looked at the little brother and hugged him as she cried with him and then she let go,facing the door and wiping her tears away.Selena didn't care if it was bad news or good news,she just wanted to see him.Without hesitation,she stepped into the doorway and entered the room that were filled with nurses and doctors.She looked over to the bed,and there Kane was,laying still.
