3 days had already passed by and Kane still ignored Selena.
"Kane.Can you give this to the other class,please ?" The teacher waved a paper to Kane.
"Okay..." Kane grabbed the paper
"W-wait..!I can go with...Kane.." Selena looked at the teacher
"If you wan-"
"No.I can go alone.I don't need anybody else." Kane left the room "I'll be back in a few minutes,mrs."
Selena sat back down on her chair.Little did she know,Orihime,one of the populars,was watching her.
~After School~
Selena was walking home alone since Takeru was with her boyfriend.In the distance,she could see Kane up ahead.At first,Selena acted is she didn't care,then she started speeding up,before she knew it,she was running towards him.She was so close but a girl with brown hair that was tied into a ponytail stood in front of her.
"E-excuse me !" Selena needed to get to Kane
"What got you in such a rush ?" The girl crossed her arms "I'm Orihime by the way.Don't be rude.Introduce yourself."
Selena stared at her "Aren't you...popular ?What are you doing talking to me ?" She stepped back
"I get to talk to whoever I want and if you say i'm popular,I aint gonna argue.But seriously,don't be rude and start introducing yourself...now" Orihime glared at her
"I-i-i'm Selena...I'm in y-your class.." Selena trembled in fear "I really need to get past you..so can I leave please ?"
"Hey.Right now,you're talking to me and I know the reason.That's why i'm not going to move.I like Kane,if you didn't know that already.I am not letting a nerd like you win against me.No way.Would ruin my rep." Orihime placed her hand on her hip.
"B-but...I really need to talk to him.Please..." Selena took a step forward and Orihime pushed her back.Selena fell to the floor.Orihime looked down at her "Do you really think that a person like you would end up with a person like him ?No way !He fits in and you don't.Even someone so stupid,would know you have a 0% chance !So,if I were you,I would back off." Orihime walked away.
'Why..?Why is this happening...why me ?' One tear drop fell,then another.Selena had started to cry.
"Need help...?" Somebodys hand was reaching down to her.Selena looked up "Kan-" She closed her mouth.It wasn't Kane.It was somebody else.It was a boy with spiky light brown hair and black glasses.
"Wh-who are you ?" Selena gently grabbed his hand
"I'm Aaron !I go to your school and i'm in your class !" He looked at her "And you..?"
"Selena..." She mumbled since she still didn't know how to talk to boys.
"Hn ?Sorry,I couldn't hear you !You're so quiet !" Aaron chuckled.Then,he noticed tears in her eyes "Hey !!What happened ?" He didn't know what to do "I don't really get your situation but you have to stop being a crybaby.." He pulled Selena up
"Huh..?" Selena rubbed her eyes "What do you mean..by that..?"
"Hunh ?You need me to explain it to you ?!What i'm saying is,stop freakin crying ! "Aaron raised his voice "So..I noticed that you stutter most of the time..what's up with that ?"
Selena gasped "Oh..it's just that i'm not used to talking to boy.."
"Eh ?You're talkin' to me..are you sayin' i'm not a dude ?! Why don't you like boys anyway ?"
"N-no..I'm not saying that you're a girl or a-anything...and I..I can't just tell y-you why...because y-y-you're a-" Selena felt like she offended him.
Selena got cut off and Aaron stood up "Whatever..I don't care for your opinion anyway 'cuz you're you..I helped you so I guess i'll be goin'.." Aaron grabbed his backpack and started to walk off
"Asshole.." Selena mumbled to herself and Aaron stopped.He turned his head to face her "What the hell did you just say..?" Aaron was pissed off. "I said..a-asshole.." Selena looked up at him.Aaron started to approach her and he looked at her face-to-face "I dare you to f*ckin' say that..one.more.time." Aaron glared at her harshly.
Selena clenched her fists "Asshole...asshole...ASSHOLE !!" She lightly punched him in to stomach.Aaron cracked his neck side to side and reached out for her. "This is why I hate boys !They're all violent and rude and mean and disgusting and-" Selena went on and on.Aaron grabbed her arm and he felt her trembling "..don't try picking a fight if you're scared to even look at the person.Stupid.." Aaron went back to walking away.
Selena was sitting there in the middle of the pathway,crying once again. 'What did i do wrong..?'
