Ryder Pov

"Alright, but I never see her cry because of a broken heart or a guy so if you make her cry, you die." Jake shut his locker and walked away.

I just chuckle and stand in front of my locker. Then Jo walks to her locker and opens her locker which is next to mine.

"Hey..." I smile at her.

"I will only tell you this once, stop texting Marley and asking her about me." Jo simply said.

"Who told you that? Was it Marley? I need to talk to her." I said about to walk off.

"Ryder, don't." Jo suddenly catches my hand and stops me. "Leave her alone. She is down because everyone blames her especially Tina and she said something really rude to her. And don't you dare ask her something that is not really important and make everything worse." Jo says to me and turns to face her locker.

I just stood there being quiet and looked at her choosing her book from her locker. She is amazing and hot at the same time.

"And don't try to duff Marley on me. She is one of my best friends and different from Kitty, I trust her so much." She said to me.

"I don't understand what duffing is?" I raise my eyebrows.

"The D.U.F.F means Designated Ugly Fat Friend." Jo simply said.

"You called Marley ugly and fat?" I frown.

"No." She rolls her eyes. "Watch movies and read urban dictionaries." She simply said and shut her locker while holding her books. "It's a job when you use one of my friends to get information about me. If you want to know about me, why don't you just ask me all by yourself?" She raises her eyebrows and walks away.

I made a little run to her and blocked her way. "Okay, do you like me?" I smirk at her.

She just looked me up and down. "No." She simply said and turned around.

I just chuckle and watch her disappear. She can say no right now but sooner or later she will say yes. That girl really drives me crazy and makes me turned on just trying to get her. Literally.

Jo Pov

I am sitting down at my study table doing my homework in my room.

"Jo, I have pizza from Ryder." Jake walks in.

I just raised my hand and put my middle finger in the air and didn't turn around. Jake just laughed and then I heard TV.

This is really scaring me. Jake told me that Ryder asked him about me and admitted he had a crush on me which makes me crazy. I messed around with him only to help Jake and I stopped that but it went too far for him I guess and this is not really what I expected.

"You don't want this pizza? This is my payment." Jake says.

"Your payment won't change anything." I simply shake my head.

"Jo, don't blame me for him having a crush on you okay. You always let guys down easily and now you are blaming me? No way." Jake protested.

"Okay I won't blame you." I let out a sigh.

"Just act normal." Jake simply said.

Yeah act normal, like nothing happened. Just be myself, the tough mean bitch and then he will back off, easier said than done.
