Game Set Match

Jo Pov

I walk to the drink corner and take a glass of punch to drink but the taste and smell isn't good. I exhale and look around until I see Kitty walk in with Puck and they both start dancing. I shake my head and look around and I see Jake enjoy dancing with Marley until a slow song begins and everyone starts dancing.

"You wanna stand here alone and look at them dancing or?" Ryder suddenly stood in front of me wearing his Tony Stark mask.

"Ryder, don't do stupid things." I laugh.

"I'm not Ryder, come on." He shows me his hand.

I take his hand and walk to the dance floor and start dancing with him. I put my hand around his shoulder as he put his hand around my waist. I don't understand why he wants to do this to me?

"Why did you bring the mask here?" I ask him.

"I thought you didn't want to dance with me so I brought this mask to make you want to dance with me." Ryder says to me.

I take off the mask from his face and throw it to the ground. "I want to dance with you as long as you won't do stupid epileptic moves or those stripper moves." I chuckle.

"Even without the mask?" Ryder grins at me.

"Yes." I nodded. "Didn't we already make a deal that I would go with you with or without that mask." I said to him.

"Okay I'll tell you one little secret." Ryder grins at me.

"What's that?" I ask curiously.

"I also have Toy Story sheets." Ryder chuckles.

I couldn't help but laugh. "Are you ten?" I laugh. "No, kidding. But Woody is cool and I love Buzz Lightyear." I giggle.

"Okay your turn." Ryder says to me.

"My secret? Umm no, this is crazy." I shake my head and laugh.

"No, tell me. I told you my secret." Ryder chuckles.

"Okay so when I was in sixth grade, I had gotten my first love letter from a nerdy cute boy. I thought he was really smart but when I read his letter, there was so many spelling and grammatical errors I rewrote the letter and gave it back to him and he thought I liked him back so he kissed me and I couldn't stop crying afterwards because I thought I would get pregnant after that." I laugh.

"That was stupid." Ryder laughs.

"Yeah I never told anyone about this and you have to know what he did after that." I chuckle.

"What?" Ryder raises his eyebrows at me.

"He brought me to the doctor to see if I was pregnant." I laughed out loud.

"What a responsible man." Ryder chuckles.

"It was really stupid and Jake almost beat him up because we thought I was pregnant." I laughed. "I never told anyone about this, only Jake knows." I giggle.

"But you just told me." Ryder says to me.

"Because you told me about your sheets." I chuckle. "When a guy tells a girl about sheets it's like a girl should tell the guy about her underwear, you know." I said to him.

"But I didn't mean to get into that." Ryder says to me.

"I know that. You are not a jerk, just annoying." I simply said.

"Really?" Ryder raises his eyebrows.

"Don't take it to heart, I say it how I see it. I know sometimes I am really mean so I'm sorry about that." I said to Ryder.

"I know that." Ryder smiles at me. " I saw your brother dancing with Kitty."

"Yeah Puck needs to stop Kitty from getting closer to Jake and ruining his plan to be a good man for Marley sooo....besides I can't stop Kitty." I said. "Oh hey..." I turned my face and nodded at Brittany. "I'll be right back." I said to Ryder and walked towards the stage.

I was standing on the stage with the other girls behind the standing microphones to perform our song.

"Yeah, McKinley! Okay, a friendly reminder Uh, don't eat the snowflakes. They are fake and the glitter sticks to the roof of your mouth." Brittany says into the microphone.

"All right ladies, grab your date and get on the dance floor!" Tina says into the microphone.

"Because the guys were just a warm up for the main performance....us!" Sugar says into the microphone. 

We ended our song then another song began to play. I go back to dancing, I really am enjoying this dance. Seriously, it's cool, I've never had so much fun before.

"Puck came here with Kitty." I whisper to Jake.

"I know that, I saw them just leave them." Jake nodded at me.

"Alright." I said, walking away from Jake, Marley and Unique.

I go back to dancing on the dance floor until Ryder starts dancing in front of me. I am truly having a lot of fun.

"I heard that Sam and Blaine are working on the investigation about The Warblers cheating." Ryder says to me.

"At sectionals?" I raise my eyebrows.

"Yeah." Ryder nodded.

"I want to join the investigation. I love playing detective." I giggle.

"Really? You really are curious." Ryder chuckles.

"I told you so." I giggle.

"But you are too late, they have already finished and we will get our choir room back." Ryder grins at me.

"Regionals are coming up." I giggle.

"Have I ever told you how awesome you are?" Ryder smirks at me.

"You are crazy, Ryder." I shake my head and laugh. "Okay just stop talking and dance with me."

"Sure." Ryder nodded and smiled at me.

A slow song began to play again. We both started dancing, he held my right hand and his other hand held my waist. I was doing the same thing he was and leaned my head on his chest since he is so much taller than me.

I don't know why but it feels different with him even though I can't stop being mean but deep down inside I want to stop being so mean to him and this is all new and different for me.
