Today is the Sadie Hawkins dance. Jake already went to pick up Marley and I'm just standing in front of my mirror looking at myself from head to toe and it looks perfect.

I am wearing a royal blue mini dress with black heels. I let my hair down and put a small amount of natural makeup on my face. I really love this dress.

I went out from my room and walked into the living room. I'm waiting for Ryder to pick me up or I will just go to the dance alone and meet him there. That's it.

I am sitting down on the sofa waiting for him. If he doesn't come in ten minutes I will go to McKinley alone and dance with the girls and have fun. Yeah sometimes I wish I was lesbian so I won't get hurt and trust guys.

Suddenly the door bell rings. I stood up from my spot and walked to the door opening it. And there was Ryder standing in my front of my door.

"Wow, you look....you look...."

"You are already five minutes late." I simply said and went out of my house and closed the door.

"It's only five minutes not fifty minutes." Ryder chuckles.

"I don't like a guy who loves being late." I simply said and got into his car.

"Okay I'm sorry it took me a long time to choose the right tie." Ryder says and starts driving.

"Are you colorblind?" I raise my eyebrows.

"No. No I'm not." Ryder shakes his head.

"Oh I thought." I simply nodded.

"Where is Jake? I didn't see him there?" Ryder says to me.

"He already left an hour ago to pick up Marley." I said without looking at him.

"Oh cool. It's supposed to be the girl who picks the guys up actually." Ryder simply says.

"You want me to drive? I can drive." I simply said to him.

"Too late, we have arrived." Ryder grins at me and parks his car in the McKinley parking lot.

I got out of his car and looked around. Many students walk in with dates and beautiful dresses. I am just curious about the snacks inside since I am hungry and thirsty.

"Come on." Ryder takes my hand and leads me in.

I roll my eyes and follow him. First he begged me to ask him to come here and now he took my hand and is leading me like I am going to run away. Well, deep down I really do want to run away from him actually.

"Wow this is beautiful." I look around as we enter the gymnasium with beautiful decorations like snowflakes and it's cool.

"Nothing is prettier than you tonight." Ryder simply said.

"You said what?" I chuckle.

"Nothing." Ryder giggles.

"Thank you by the way." I smile at him.

"Want to dance?" Ryder shows me his hand.

"Sure." I nodded and took his hand as we walked together to the dance floor. Upbeat music begins and he starts dancing. "Would you stop dancing like an epileptic guy?" I chuckle.

"This is what Sam taught me to dance." Ryder chuckles.

"Are you following his stripper style?" I laugh. "No offense but he is doing that better than you." I chuckle.

"Okay I will stop because you don't like that." Ryder chuckles as he is still dancing.

"To be a guy, you have to be yourself to attract the girl and get closer to you." I said to him, still dancing.
