"To be a guy, you have to be yourself to attract the girl and get closer to you." Jo simply said.
"Like what?" I raise my eyebrows.
"Like you told me about your Star Wars sheets and no I didn't tell anyone about that, not even Jake." Jo chuckles.
"Well, if I tell you that you are beautiful tonight, will you trust me?" I ask her.
"Depends." Jo chuckles.
"You are awesome, Jo." I smile at her.
"I wish the one who said that was Tony Stark." Jo laughs.
I just chuckle and still dance with her. Yeah I can't lie she looks really beautiful tonight and I like this conversation with her. It's getting better and better.
"Be right back," I said to her and walked to the stage as the other guys were standing on the stage.
Jo just stopped dancing and walked right in front of the stage standing next to Brittany and Tina.
"What's up, McKinley? We've got quite the set. We'd like to dedicate this song to all the strong, proud and empowered ladies who stuck their necks out to make this happen. This week, you showed us what it feels like to wait anxiously by the phone that never rings. The horror when all your friends get asked to the dance and you don't and you just have to sit there...." Artie says until Blaine cuts him off.
"All right, cool. Thank you, Artie. This next one's for all the, uh, powerful women out there." Blaine cut Artie off as the music started and I took off my black suit and wore a headset microphone.
We ended our song with clapping from the audience until another song began again. I take my suit jacket and jump off the stage then take Jo's hand to dance with me again.
"Your stripper moves are really disgusting." Jo laughed at me while we were dancing together.
"I thought you liked it." I giggle.
"Why must everything be connected with me?" Jo raises her eyebrows.
"I don't know why." I shrug.
"I'm gonna get punch." Jo says to me and walked away.
Damn! Why don't I have the guts to tell her that I like her and how crazy I am about her. It's totally stupid. I just know that she is perfect for me and I have to get her. No matter what or how.
