"So who are yous? Are you going to introduce yourselves or am I going to guess who you are?" I question them with a brow raised.
"Sorry hun, boys introduce yourself oldest to youngest." My dad said.
We sat around the table in the open plan kitchen/ dining room, it was a big white one that seated up to twelve people I think. My dad sat to my left with Dante sitting on my right, Rocco was opposite me and Alessandro sat on one side of him, while Mario sat on the other side of Alessandro. There were only actually two I hadn't been properly introduced to yet.
"I'm your oldest brother, la mia Piccola luce, my name is Vincent. If that prick bothers you again, you tell me and ill sort it." he pointed towards Mario giving him a deadly look as he did.
(my little light)
Once that was said and done Mario continued to sulk for the rest of the conversation as Rocco, himself, Dante and Alessandro introduced themselves to me again. Mario's and Dante's were the equivelent of a death stare that looked like they were constipated, which I translated into meaning 'fuck off'. It didn't bother me though, they were just fucking pathetic.
Then came the last introduction from the youngest that had asked if my baby was real. "Hi, I'm fifteen and your favourite youngest brother ever!"
"Well, favourite brother ever... are you going to tell me your name huh?" I said teasingly.
His face grew red when he realised he'd not even said his name, "I'm Sergio and I'm so excited to be going to school with you."
School... the fuck? What makes them think I'm going there pfft.
"Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but me and school parted ways a hella long time ago, ain't no way you'll catch me back there."
His brows furrowed and he looked over to Dad for confirmation, "I'm not going end off, I don't need to." I cut him off before he could say anything.
And luckily, just like that, the doorbell rang and I was saved from yet another boring and draining conversation.
I put my phone into my pocket and went over to the door with Nia falling asleep in my arms.
I open it to see a guard with one of my bags and a big box which I presumed had the walker inside. My dad came up behind me and took the box and looked back over his shoulder, "Me and the boys will build this while you get sorted," he smiled at me as he walked towards the living room.
"Thank you," I say to him with a small smile as I shut the front door and go to get sorted. It was weird having someone to build baby things for me, I'd done everything on my own.
I emptied the bag out on the dresser that's in the room and Nia immediately spotted her bear. So I picked it up and put it on the bed and she huggled into it. I surrounded her with pillows, and quickly changed her nappy and clothes so she could nap. I pushed down on the elephant trunk of the bear and it spoke, "I love you!"
