I blow my hair out of my face finally dressed and ready to go and find Alessandro. I grabbed my phone and her bear knowing she will want it later on tonight.

I go down every hallway I can think of but everywhere is deserted, literally. Okay try not to panic, I tell myself. It's all good they are probably- I stop myself short, they are all probably sat in the cinema room, watching a movie like a normal family.

Okayyy... now I feel stupid. I open the door to the cinema room and there they all are, panic over.

I go sit down next to my dad and Nia, as usual, throws herself at me as if she's doing some parkour stunt. I catch her, but her hand whacks me in the nose, "Thanks for that," I mumble kissing her on the head.

She ignores me and goes straight for her bear, "Bware-dd-bwrae." She talks in baby language, pushing the button.

"I love you." Rowan's voice lit up the room and I could feel everyone staring at me. Nia burst into giggles as she hugged the bear tight, it dwarfs her as she's so small, she is just hugging a leg.

She sits happily as we all watch fast and furious, Rocco and Vin are having a popcorn fight, which is very weird as Vin always looks like he's constipated with that stern look he likes to do. They all seem kind of normal, halfway through the movie Nia fell asleep and we started the next one, fast five.

"Look at our family now. I can't go home, your sisters stuck in this life! Where's Letty, Dom? Where's Letty?" Sergio and Mario stand acting out the scene.

"Are you for real? You do this every time!" Dante groaned.

They looked like they were about to stop so I decided to egg them on, "Carry on you are doing good!" I teased.

"That's the last part of the scene unless you want the plasma cutter part?" Sergio said enthusiastically.

Mario hit him lightly on the back of his head, "She is being sarcastic doofus."

They started arguing over what I was and wasn't saying and I zoned out until Nia started waking up. She cried a little as her eyes blinked and looked for me.

"I'm right here baby," I whispered to her and lightly rubbed her cheek. I brought her bear closer to her so she could press the button.

Rowan's voice lights up the room again, "I love you," She giggles lightly and starts sucking on the fur. I should get her a teether, I think to myself.

"Nova, I have to ask... is her dad Rowan?" My dad stumbled over his words.

I froze, my eyes blinking between the movie on the screen and Rowan on the floor with blood spewing out of him. I pull Nia closer, she always makes me feel better and brings me back to reality.

"Yes, he's her dad, was her dad," I said in a small voice.

Everyone gasped, "Do you know what happened to him?" Sergio asked in a quiet voice.

I nodded and took a deep breath, my dad patted my knee as a show of support while everyone else looked solemn.

"I was there," I whispered so quietly only my dad heard.

His face paled, "Where?" He asked cautiously.

Everyone turned to us, apprehensive of my next words, but all I could see was red, the blood so much blood.

"I-it wouldn't stop it was everywhere, so so much." I stumbled over my words, my breathing lacking.

I made eye contact with Vincent and he looked so shocked with his jaw slack as if he knew exactly what I'm thinking. Rocco's hand was stilled halfway to his mouth with it hanging wide open, popcorn half eaten inside. But it was the look of pure dread on Sandro's face that had me pause.

"I saw it happen, I was there when he got shot. I tried to stop the bleeding, b-but it was coming so fast."

I couldn't contain myself, as soon as the first tear dropped I was drawn into dads arms, but I panicked not wanting to be close to anyone. My breathing picked up, the noise from the movie fazing into the background, "I couldn't save him, he just laid there, he was supposed to get Enzo's car. He was supposed to live and drive that car, he was so fucking happy! He was jumping up and down with fucking excitement I-i," I cried out my breathing laboured.

My eyes blinked rapidly, black spots appearing in my vision, I felt myself moved onto someone else's chest, "Stop this Nova, you and I both know that this isn't what Rowan would have wanted." Dante told me.

"What do you know?" I scoffed at him.

"Well for starters I know he was a dumb fuck for getting his best friend pregnant," Dante laughed and I was so close to punching him, but dad gave him a stern look and he raised his hands n surrender.

"Right sorry, wrong choice of words, I know for a fact he loved you. Unfortunately, that's all the inspirational shit I have today." he shrugged.

"Wow, I feel so much better." I sassed feeling the slightest bit better.

The mood in the room seemed a bit dead now so I got up, "I'm getting Nia a teether," put Nia on my hip and went to the kitchen.

Ah fuck, my head is gone. I can't even think straight, I shove the front door open practically dragging my leg behind me to the kitchen. Getting back home was quite easy it was so easy that when I got off the fucking plane some fucker tried to fucking assassinate me.

Little shit got me real good in the leg. Hurts like a bitch. I breathe heavily as I search all the cupboards for something to suppress the bleeding until Dante finds me or something. That guy is like a sniffer dog.

I went all through the medical cupboard but couldn't focus on what I was looking at, my mind elsewhere. I don't know what I'll ever do if I don't find her, sure I have my mom but I lost both Dad and Rowan in months. It's messing with my mind, I finally find some gauze and go to a seat and put it on the wound with pressure.

Hissing out a breath of pain I look up and freeze, my heart expanding, exploding. Am I fucking hallucinating?
