In which Grace Harrington goes home
Grace hit serval of the demobats she settled on calling them but they were smarter and cut her ankle with their teeth causing her to fall back as they attacked biting her stomach she could hear the shouts of the others who had obviously followed the pair in over on the other side of the boat so Grace tore the bat's from her skin standing up getting ready to run over to them when she felt something go through her skin piercing her skin the girl looked down to see her once white shirt drenched in blood and the tail of a bat in her stomach, Grace let out a cry of pain as the creature retracted its limb flying off. The Harrington girl whimpered stumbling her way to the group clutching her wound tightly to stop the bleeding "Steve!? Are you alright?! Where's Gracie?!" she heard Nancy ask her brother who seemed out of breath "guys..." she spoke weakly coming into their view, they all turned to her watching as her hand fell from her stomach revealing the hole in her stomach that was loosing blood and fast "Grey?!" Steve ignored his own pain focusing on his bleeding little sister "Gracie?! Oh my god!" Nancy said rushing forward and catching her before she fell "I'm fine I'm fine" she tried to convince them "yeah and I'm Molly Ringwald" Robin said in a high pitched voice taking off her hawaiian type shirt wrapping it tightly across the younger Harrington's waist "Grace?! Sweetheart please be okay" Eddie choked out wrapping her arm around his neck clinging onto her "I'm fine, it's just a little scratch" she smiled but that smile soon faded as blood dribbled from her mouth "fine my ass Harrington" he said helping her walk "do you guys think these bat's have like rabies?" Robin asked Grace wiped the blood from her mouth looking at her "what?" Steve asked "it's just that like rabies are my number one greatest fear and we should probably get you guys to a doctor like really soon because once the symptoms kick in its too late, you're already like dead" Robin started rambling the group stared at her when more screeches and shrieks sounded in the distance getting closer "alright there's not that many" Steve said bravely as the creatures stood defending the gate "we can take them" just as he said that a flock of about a dozen or so more came flying through the air "you were saying?" Grace said from Eddie's side "the woods, come on" the group stared running towards the forest the best they could with two of their team mates injured "great" Robin said "more running".
The group had crouched underneath Skull Rock as the sworm flew overhead Grace was leant against the wall in a position that wouldn't cause her anymore pain as she lay her head against the cold rock, once they were sure all of the bat's had passed they crawled out one by one except Grace who tried to focus more on her breathing "holy shit that was close" Robin breathed out looking around "shit" Steve collapsed against the rock beside his sister holding his wounds "Steve?" Nancy turned to him a worried expression on her face "I'm fine" he said "no, no your not your losing blood" Nancy tore a part of her shirt wrapping it around Steve's torso "too tight?" she asked looking up at him "no no it's fine" Nancy nodded "so the good news is I'm pretty sure wooziness isn't a common symptom of rabies, but uh, if you start having hallucinations or muscle spasms or if you start feeling very aggressive like you wanna punch me let me know" Robin rambled again "Robin?" Steve said "yeah?" she replied "I kinda wanna punch you" Steve stated Robin laughed "sense of humours still intact that's a good sign" Grace spoke up from beside her brother "I don't know if I'm just high of the pain Robin but I kinda want to kiss you right now" Eddie shot Robin a jealous look "wait what?" the girl asked dumbfounded "mhm, but like I said I'm probably just high of the pain" Robin smiled shaking her head "right, totally" Eddie climbed up onto a nearby rock "so uh, this place is like Hawkins, but with monsters and nasty shit?" he shouted down to the group trying to ignore Robin holding Grace "pretty much" Nancy replied coming out of the rock "wait! Watch out for the vines! It's all a hive mind" Eddie stopped his foot mind air "what?" he asked confused "all the creepy crawlies around here man, they're all like one or something, step on a vine, your stepping on a bat, your stepping on Vecna" Steve summed up "shit" Eddie nodded now being careful of where he stepped "but everything from our world is still here right?, except people obviously" Robin asked.
