Chapter 26

Next morning,
Jungkook woke up, tae was still by his side, now sleeping in a comfortable position but his hand was still curled around his belly protectively.

'Hubby', mumbled kook sleepily.

'Yes, kook I am here sleep some more, you slept late last night', said tae with closed eyes and caressed jungkook's head to make him sleep again.

'Office', kook again mumbled sleepily.

'I am not going today, after you'll wake up we're going to the doctor', said tae and jungkook nodded rubbing his cheek on tae's chest, snuggling close to his hubby.

After about an hour or so, jungkook woke up.

Tae was looking at him lovingly.

'Good morning', said tae and smiled at jungkook and kissed his forehead.

'Good morning hubby', said kook and kissed tae's cheek.

Both got ready for the day and had their breakfast, leaving for the doctors appointment which tae already took in their hospital as the services were top notch, Kims being the major investors.

As soon as they reached the hospital tae put a firm hand around jungkook's waist like always leading him towards the maternity department.

'Hello, mr Kim, mrs Kim', the doctor greeted who was a female, quite aged and experienced in her field of work, that's why tae selected her for jungkook's pregnancy.

'Hello', both tae and jungkook greeted back and settled themselves on the seats.

'Don't be nervous mrs kim, we'll just do your check up and run some tests', said the doctor seeing the nervousness of jungkook as any soon to be mommy.

Tae squeezed jungkook's hand reassuringly before he went away with the doctor.

Jungkook was nervous, as it was his first time to go through all this but the one who was about to pass out was taehyung but he was not showing it, he was tensed about his wife and baby.

After sometime, jungkook came with the doctor and took his previous seat besides his hubby.

'Congratulations Mr kim, mrs kim you are two weeks pregnant', said the doctor making the Kim couple look at each other and smile sweetly.

The doctor instructed them regarding every do's and dont's of pregnancy, tae also asked her thoroughly about jungkook's health and safety, making him watch his husband with loving eyes.

'So, I'll see you on your next appointment, take care', said the doctor and the Kim couple left.

They were going home when tae remembered something.

'Kook do you wanna eat something, are you craving for something?', asked tae to jungkook who was leaning on his shoulder.

'Hubby, it's still early for cravings but since you asked me so nicely I would like to have icecream', said kook making tae chuckle.

Tae ushered the driver to stop at a icecream parlour.

Soon they stopped at a small cute icecream parlour and went there, as jungkook wanted to eat icecream in the parlour itself and not in the car.

Tae went to order the icecream while making jungkook sit at the table.

Jungkook was enjoying the sweet fragrance of the icecream in the air while watching the children around having there icecream cutely.

He thought how they will bring their baby here like the other parents and how cute their baby would look being all messy with icecream.

Tae came back with jungkook's favourite cookies and cream and banana ice creams, making jungkook's eyes shine and hands clap in tiny as he was happy, which he does whenever he is having something of his favourite or something very tasty to eat.

Tae smiled seeing jungkook being all cute and adorable.

'Hubby', said kook holding a spoonful of icecream near tae's mouth.

Tae ate the icecream from jungkook's hand, making him smile widely like always, it made tae remember the first time he was fed by his wife.

It was the first time they went out for dinner,

'Kook what do you want for dessert?', asked tae while jungkook was thinking what to have.

'A slice of chocolate cake', said kook with sparkly eyes.

Tae ordered a slice of chocolate cake for jungkook as he himself doesn't like sweet or sugary things that much.

Soon a heavenly looking chocolate cake slice was served.

Jungkook took a spoonful of cake and held it infront of tae, gesturing him to eat, while tae just kept looking at jungkook for a few seconds as it never happened to him before that someone fed him.

He saw jungkook looking down a bit embarrassed as he didn't eat and started to retreat his hand, but tae quickly held his hand and ate the cake.

Jungkook smiled widely and started eating the cake happily with the same spoon he fed tae with.

Tae felt a warm feeling engulfing his chest, by all the gestures of his wife, who doesn't even know how he is making tae fall in love with him deeper and deeper.

Till this day, it has somehow became a habit of jungkook that whenever he eats something sweet, he feeds the first bite to tae.

'Hubby', called kook as he finished his ice-creams.

Tae came out of his thoughts and looked at jungkook who had some icecream on his chin, he wiped the icecream and kissed his cheek making jungkook shy and blushy blushy as there were people around.

They left the icecream parlour and reached their home.

Taehyung informed the Kims and jeons regarding his wife's pregnancy, and soon enough mr kim, his hyungs with namjin, aunt yuri and jimin were at their place, for congratulating and blessing the soon to be parents.

After they all left ,the rest of the day went with taehyung planning and arranging everything for jungkook's health and pregnancy according to the doctor's guidelines and recommendations.

So this was the first day of our Kim couple after knowing they are pregnant.
