Chapter 29

So the Kim couple was going for baby shopping today as it was weekend, so tae was free from work.

Jungkook was getting ready, he was going to enter his third trimester in a few days making him look all cute and round.

He was wearing a towel around his body selecting clothes to wear, but he was not liking anything.
So he went towards his hubby's side as always and grabbed one of his hoodie, he sniffed it and hummed satisfied and wore it.

He loves tae's scent around him, it was his major craving these days.

Before he liked his hubby's scent too, but now it was like a solution to his every mood, it makes him feel calm instantly.

He did his all natural skincare and called for his hubby.

Tae smiled coming towards him knowing why kook called.

There jungkook was sitting, waiting for his hubby to apply his body balm on his belly for him, since he started showing tae does it for him.

Tae loved it as he could feel his baby under his palms, it was the father baby bonding time for him.

He lifted jungkook's hoodie and warmed up the balm rubbing between his palms and softly applied it all over kook's cute round belly, and lastly left a soft kiss on it.

Jungkook smiled and kissed his cheek.

Soon they left for shopping.

Jungkook was looking all cute, roaming around the baby section.

Taehyung was behind him looking after him as jungkook was the one choosing, asking tae's opinion and suggestions here and there.

'Hubby, blue or pink?',asked kook showing his hubby a cute baby blanket.

'Baby, both are cute, take them both', said tae like a obedient husband and jungkook nodded happily.

Jungkook was walking around looking at all the cute things with shiny eyes and bunny smile, till he got tired.

They bought all the necessary things for the baby and decided to come back later for other things, as they still have few months left till due date.

As they were leaving the mall, jungkook slightly bumped with a lady, tae held him quickly as he was right behind him.

'Kook are okay, did you get hurt?', asked tae worriedly eyeing jungkook.

'No hubby, I am completely fine', said kook and taehyung nodded relieved.

'I am sorry', apologised kook to the lady and taehyung looked at the lady as well.

Both froze on their spots, the lady and taehyung looking at each other.

'Taehyung, tae, my son', mumbled the lady as a tear slipped from her eye.

She came forward and tried to touch tae's face, but tae backed away, anger coursing through his veins, memories coming back.

Jungkook was still processing everything, this lady is his hubby's mother.

Before jungkook could react, tae held his wrist firmly and started walking away, jungkook gave a last glance to the lady and left with his husband.

Soon they reached their car, and tae made jungkook sit properly first and settled himself.

'Hubby', called kook softly but tae didn't say anything and kept driving.

'Hubby, she...........', tried kook again but was cutoff by his husband.

'I don't want to talk', said tae said a bit sternly and jungkook stopped, he just intertwined his hand with tae's free one.

Rest of the ride till home was silent.

'Hubby', called jungkook again softly as soon as they reached their room.

'Kook, didn't I tell you I don't wanna talk about it', said tae a bit harshly, jungkook didn't say anything further and just hugged him close.

'We will not talk about it till you want', said kook softly and rubbed his back and head in a calming manner.

Tae sighed and closed his eyes hugging him back, staying like that for sometime, inhaling jungkook's calming scent.

After freshening up a bit, Tae went to his study, which he sometimes uses, as most of the time he does his work anywhere around kook, be their bedroom or living room, as they both like being around each other.

But today, taehyung wanted some time alone, not because he doesn't want to be around jungkook, he wants to, he cannot even imagine what he would've done if jungkook was not with him, in his life like the angel he is.

But his mind was a mess, he didn't wanted to behave aggressively or irrationally infront jungkook when he is at this fragile state himself, so he decided to calm himself down first.

Jungkook decided to give his husband some space understanding, though he was very agitated and tensed about him, he himself was shocked to the core, he can't even imagine how much his husband must be shaken up.

He went to prepare dinner in the mean time with the help of the maids.

After the dinner was prepared, jungkook took it to the study room for his hubby.

Taehyung was sitting there drinking looking at nothing, deep in his thoughts.

Jungkook slowly sat beside tae who acknowledged his presence, and saw he was holding a tray with food.

'I am not hungry kook', said tae sighing.

'But I am hungry and the baby is hungry and we won't eat without you', said jungkook and tae's eyes immediately softened at that.

He looked at jungkook, he felt guilty for his behaviour knowing how much he affects kook, his kook has nothing to do with this situation.

Jungkook slowly took the spoon near his mouth and tae ate it silently, he fed kook as well.

After the dinner, both retired to their bedroom.

Both changed and laid down to sleep, but they were no where near sleeping.

Tae hugged jungkook sideways and stuffed his face in his chest, jungkook stroked his head to comfort him somehow.

'Why did she came back now, why, when she left, left me crying and scared?',said tae still holding onto kook letting his tears fall.

Taehyung never thought that he would meet that woman again, or even wanted to see her face.

It was not just about meeting her, but also about all the bad memories that came back with her, because of her.

Does he even have a right to get angry on her, when she didn't even love him and left him just like he was nothing, left their once happy family just like it had no significance?!
