Chapter 30

Few days passed since the entire ordeal, everything was back to normal in Kim couples life, just after that day they never talked or even mentioned about the lady.

Tae didn't because he just didn't want to remember her and all the bitter memories, while jungkook didn't because he clearly understood tae's hesitation.

Mr Kim arranged a small get together at Kim mansion as usual, wanting to see his younger son and son in law.

The Kim couple got ready and reached the Kim mansion.

Everything was going well till a certain person entered the Kim mansion after so many years.

By then, all the Kim members were watching the person wide eyed except for mr Kim.

Taehyung's jaw clenched, namjoon was too near to loose his calm.

There was the lady, their mother, former mrs Kim taeri standing there.

Mr Kim got up and went towards her, seeing the reactions of his sons.

'Come', said mr Kim and lead the lady to have a sit.

Namjoon was going to say something, but he was shut by his father with a hand gesture to stay silent, jin held his hand to stop his husband from saying anything.

As soon as the lady sat down, taehyung stood up to leave.

'Sit down taehyung', mr Kim said a bit loudly and looked at jungkook to help him.

'I won't, let's leave kook', said tae and held jungkook's hand who didn't move from his place.

Taehyung looked at him in disbelief.

'Please, listen to your mother once', said mr Kim and looked at the lady who had his head hung low.

'She is not my mother', said taehyung loudly.

'Kook, let's leave', said taehyung again.

'Hubby, just please listen what she has to say once, for me', said kook and taehyung left his hand and sat back down.

'I am sorry, namjoonah, taeah I am so sorry', said the lady looking at namjoon and taehyung.

'I am sorry for everything, for being selfish, I know it doesn't justify what I did, but but I am really guilty for what I did, even if you both hate me it's understandable, I accept it, but I just wanted to apologise once for my deed, I am really sorry', said the lady crying now joining her hands together.

She was really guilty for her deed, all this years she wanted to see her children but never did being scared and ashamed of the outcome and their reactions.

She came back to the country a few months ago and saw taehyung that day and decided to at least meet them once to apologise, she somehow contacted mr Kim and pleaded him to help her.

It's never too late to apologise for your wrong deeds, regardless of the outcome, that you will be forgiven or not.

'Don't cry, you have no right to cry, weren't you living a happy loving life with that man all this years, now you come back to apologise because you are suddenly feeling guilty',

'Where was this guilt of yours all this years when me, my brother and father were burdened with the shame and pain you put us through',

'Everyone used to say, his mother ran away and many more things and I wouldn't be able to say anything other than listening to it because it was true, it was the reality that you left us',

'Thank you so much for giving such beautiful memories of you, I couldn't thank you enough for everything, for the suffering, for the pain of being left like unwanted useless thing by your own mother', said taehyung pouring out all the pent up feelings and words he had in his heart for years.

With that Tae stood up and left the place, without looking back, jungkook followed him.

'You should leave now, just like you did years back, as you can see we are living just fine without you, we are not suffering anymore like how you left us', said namjoon and left upstairs to his room, jin followed him.

Both the elders were left behind, taeri was looking down feeling really ashamed, his children are right, she has no right to even be called a mother.

'I am sorry daehyun, please forgive me if you can', said taeri looking at mr Kim now.

'You may leave now', said mr Kim and turned around and taeri left the place.

Mr Kim helped her, as a mother of his children, he couldn't deny the pleadings of a mother, though he himself never wanted to see the woman again.

But he also wanted himself and his sons to get out of the past and memories which was like a dark chapter of their lives, it was not worth to remember and be attached to it for the rest of their lives.

You need to get rid of your old burdens entirely to start a new happy chapter of life.
