Chapter 31

'What are my babies doing?', tae asked on the other end of the call, he was returning home from work.

'Your babies are good and missing you sooo much, your little one is kicking me nonstop wanting his dadda to be near', said kook pouting and caressing his seven month baby bump.

'Baby put the phone on speaker', said tae smiling thinking about his pouting big baby and naughty tiny baby.

Jungkook put the call on speaker, keeping it near his baby bump.

'My baby, don't trouble mumma, dadda will be home in a few minutes and will give you lots of cuddles and kisses', said tae to both, their little bean as well as his baby mommy.
Upon hearing his father's voice, the little bean immediately stopped kicking.

Suddenly thundering sound was heard,
making jungkook flinch and hold his bump instinctively.

'The weather is not good hubby, I'll end the call now, drive safely, come home soon', said kook as the weather was not good and tae was driving.

'Okay, take care, love you', said tae as the call ended.

'Your dada will be home soon, till then be mumma's good baby', said jungkook caressing his baby bump.

Whenever tae is near jungkook, their baby will be calm and would only kick lightly when tae talks to the baby bump as if replying to his father, otherwise would give hard time to kook when tae is not around.

And jungkook was sure that their little one is definitely going to be a father's minion, and he loved that.

Jungkook went downstairs to heat up the food and prepare the table, as his hubby will be home soon.

Suddenly his phone rang, it was his hubby again, he picked up the call and heard the commotion around and painful groans of his husband on the other side.

'Hubby, hubby what happened, are you okay, hubby', said kook panicking.

'Kook, baby, I i am sorry', said tae with difficultly as it was getting hard for him to speak with all the pain surging through his body.

'Hubby, please what is happening, i am scared', said kook, his heartbeats quickening with each passing moment.

'Kook, I i love you.............', with that tae's line went silent.

'Hubby hubby stay with me, stay.....', said kook desperately, he was close to loosing his own senses.

'Hello, hello the owner of the phone, he had an accident, he is being taken to *********Hospital', said a person on the other end.

Jungkook felt as if his heart stopped, his throat went dry, not being able to speak anything, not being able to understand anything.

My tae, my tae, my tae...........just this one thing was going on in his head.

He somehow managed himself, informed his family and reached the hospital, with shaky legs and shaky hands wrapped around his baby bump.

Taehyung was in the OT, so jungkook sat their in the lobby waiting, soon his family members came, joining him.

All were desperately waiting outside the OT, praying for taehyung.

'Jungkookie baby, don't worry taehyung will be okay, please have some water', said yuri looking at jungkook's state, but he didn't react or move.

He was looking pale and close to passing out, he was not crying, but was chanting tae's name like a mantra, his eyes were stilled on the OT's closed door.

Yuri hugged him and patted his head understanding, to comfort him, but jungkook was no where near to understand or see anything around him till he sees his husband.

Everyone was feeling bad, seeing their baby jungkookie like this, they have never seen him so broken and lost before.

After what felt like hours, the OT doors were opened and they were informed that taehyung was out of danger now and would be unconscious for some hours.

He was shifted to the room, and was allowed to be seen by his family.

Everyone looked at jungkook, to send him in first to see his husband.

Jungkook went in the room and saw his husband, it was heartbreaking, his hubby was wrapped in so many bandages, bruises on his face and body.

He went and sat beside tae on the chair, he wanted to cry loudly seeing his hubby's state.

He sat their like a statue looking at his husband and spoke after sometime,
'Hubby, hubby look your little one is kicking me so much, I i can't handle it alone, please tell baby to be calm, please hubby.............'
With that he broke down crying.

He can't see his taehyung like this, he wants to see his taehyung happy and healthy not like this, he can't bear to see even a scratch on his husband.

After sometime, jin came in with some food, for jungkook as he can't be like this when he is pregnant.

'Jungkookie baby, have something, please the baby needs it, be strong for the baby', said jin and jungkook looked at him upon hearing about his baby and nodded at his hyung.

'Hyung I'll eat, my baby needs to eat and be strong to meet his dada when he wakes up', said kook and ate silently.

Elders tried to send jungkook home and rest but he didn't listen to anyone, and looking at him no one forced him much either, as he really needed to be near tae to be okay himself.

So jungkook kept sitting near his husband, looking at him, waiting for him to wake up.
