Chapter 18

Tae woke up and went to freshen up and went to the gym room which he does sometimes, when he feels like it or when he is stressed or angry about something, wanting to release it.

Jungkook left the bed when taehyung went out of the room not wanting to face him.
He came downstairs after freshening up, and Mary informed him that taehyung is in the gym room. So, he started preparing tae's tea and breakfast.

Tae came to the dining table after getting ready, while jungkook was still in the kitchen.

Jungkook came and served his tea as usual with a smile and kissed tae's cheek muttering a 'good morning', but only tae knew the smile was anything but a happy one.

Tae greeted back and kissed jungkook's cheek and both started to have their breakfast.

All this while taehyung was waiting for jungkook to tell him something, ask him about yesterday but nothing came. Jungkook was acting normal in front of him when he was devastated inside which tae knew, making him angry minute by minute.

On the other hand, jungkook was praying tae wouldn't say anything about yesterday or that woman, he doesn't want to listen, he won't be able to take it.

They finished their breakfast and went to their room, jungkook was doing everything as usual reminding him to take his files, while handing him his watch, wallet.

Tae was watching him all this while.

Jungkook came forward for tying his tie while tae was looking at his face. Jungkook was about to move away after tying his tie and adjusting his suit but tae held his hands.

'Kook do you want to tell me something?', asked tae softly looking at him.

'No, hubby', replied kook with difficulty remembering everything again.

'Okay, but I have something to tell you', said tae still watching jungkook's face, he could see the tears welling up in those doe eyes.

Jungkook was trying hard to not cry, he doesn't want to listen to tae, he doesn't want see the reality, he wants to live like this with tae even if it is not real.

'So yesterday I', started tae but was cut off by jungkook, who kissed him while crying as he doesn't want tae to say the next words, tae held him close while kissing back.

After a few minutes they parted away, jungkook stuffed his face inside tae's chest and kept on crying, while tae held him close letting him pour all his pain out.

'Hubby please don't leave me, I love you, I will be good for you, I will do anything you want just please stay with me, I will do everything as you say, I love you, I love.......', jungkook kept on saying looking at tae with pleading eyes.

'Kim Jungkook', yelled tae grabbing jungkook's arm and making him stop his actions.

Jungkook stood still and didn't say any other word while tae was feeling so many things seeing jungkook so broken and pleading like this for him to not leave him.

His kook was pleading him to not leave him which he isn't capable of doing, in this lifetime or in any other lives.

'Look at me', said tae making jungkook sit on the bed with him on his lap holding him close to his chest.

Jungkook didn't look up.

'I said look at me', tae said a bit loudly making the younger look at him with his big teary eyes.

Tae gently wiped his tears with his aching heart watching kook like this.

Since past months tae understood that jungkook is someone who would cry easily when he is hurt or sad, he can't control it, it is his way to cope up with his feelings and that is completely fine, but that makes tae want to protect him more and keep him happy at all times.

'I am not leaving you till the day I die, even if you would want to leave me someday I won't let you, you are trapped with me for eternity', said tae cupping jungkook's face.

'Now listen to me carefully without interrupting', said tae and kook nodded feeling better after listening to tae's words.

Tae explained him everything about yesterday and the entire incident and the phone call last night.

Flashback

Taehyung was sitting in his office room going through some files, just then he heard his phone ting.

He saw it was a message from a number he knew, he felt irritated but still opened the text.

"Hi taehyung, I am sorry for my actions for that day, I want to meet you for the last time, please for the sake of all those years, after this I will never interfere in your life ever again, I will be waiting for you at the ********** café".

Taehyung wanted to finish this for once and for all, so he decided to go.

He needs to get rid of his past so he could have a happy future with his kook.

Taehyung went to the cafe and saw Isabelle sitting there drinking coffee. He went and sat on the opposite side.

'Tell me what do you want and finish this', said taehyung immediately as he sat down, he wants to just leave here quickly.

'You, I want you', said Isabelle looking at him.

'How can you forget all those times we spent together, for what huh for him who is in your life for a few months, I love you........' continued Isabelle.

'Nonsense, love, this is not love this is obsession, this is the difference between you and my kook, he just knows how to give love and happiness, but you, you just know how to take things from others,' said taehyung getting angry.

'Wow, Kim taehyung, you speaking about love, what did that b***h', tried saying Isabelle but was cut off by tae.

'Shut the f**k up, he is my wife', said taehyung raging.

'Oh Kim what have you become', said Isabelle mocking him.

Taehyung stood up to leave to not a make a scene here but Issabelle suddenly grabbed and kissed him and left, taehyung was stunned he didn't know what just happened.

Apparently, Isabelle saw a glimpse of Jungkook there when she was leaving, she smiled viciously thinking about the damage she did to them, their marriage.
