We were in the car listening to whatever came on the radio whilst arvin drove. "What's your favourite genre of music?" I asked trying to start a conversation. "I don't listen to music that often." He answered as he kept his eyes on the road. "You aren't into much are you." I chuckled making him smile. "That's not true i'm into a lot of stuff." He looked at me as he said that. I smiled to myself as suddenly we came to a stop, we were finally at the store and I opened the door to get out. I walked in the store noticing not that much people were in there. "FOUND IT!!" I screamed to Arvin, I couldn't see him though, when I found him again he was hiding behind an aisle as his head popped out of the side. "Arvin what are you doing? I got the medicine." I said as I tapped him on the shoulder. "Shhh!" He put his finger on his lips to indicate that I needed to be quiet. "Excuse me? Don't you dare shh me you're the one acting weird." I sassed as he pulled me to his side. "No, Gene Dinwoodie is here im trying to eavesdrop on their conversation." He informed me I calmed down. "Ha, we should get this slime and pour it on the lost puppy or preferably doll and the brother fucker." Orville Buckman suggested as he laughed at his own idea. "That's it those sons of bitches are gonna get it." Arvin whisper shouted as he started getting up from his hiding spot, at that point I couldn't care less that Arvin wanted to beat there faces in but I also didn't want him to get hurt, I pulled him back down to the place we were hiding. "What was that for aren't you sick of them, do you not want me to beat them up?" His face laced with confusion on why I was stopping him from doing something that I wish could happen. "I would love that Arvin but the store isn't the most appropriate place to do something like that." I reassured him.

"Oh look who it is the sister fucker and the doll, it's so good to see you here at the store spying on us." Gene chuckled. "If you wanted it doll you could have just come get it you didn't have to spy on me, I would love to have your tongue swirling around mine." Tommy Matson laughed. "What did you say?" Arvin angrily got up and was about to punch the light out of him. "Ha, Arvin you gotta admit she is such a catch your probably crazy for her." He continued making matters worse. I sneaked away from the scene knowing Arvin would take care of this and paid for my moms medicine as they were all distracted by Arvin. "Hey look she was sneaking away leave him lets deal with her." Gene said as he walked towards me, my eyes widened as Tommy started to lift my chin up with his finger looking into my eyes. Gene started to pull my hair this was exactly like the last time we had a run in with them. "You're hot too bad your a loser or I would kiss you right now." Tommy said as he tucked loose hair behind my ear. "LEAVE HER ALONE!" Arvin came behind tommy flipping him on his back. "EVER TOUCH HER AGAIN OR I WILL I SWEAR TO YOU MURDER YOU." Arvin said he had Tommy on the ground choking him. "DO YOU UNDERSTAND?" Arvin screamed louder, the worker behind the desk wide eyed trying to stop the fight. "AND DON'T YOU EVER TOUCH HER OR SPEAK TO HER LIKE THAT AGIN DO YOU HEAR ME YOU LITTLE SHIT." He screamed still having a hold on his neck. "Yes, I understand." Tommy Matson said as Arvin suddenly released him, all three boys running out of the store in fear. "Well, that is certainly not what I expected to happen at the store. I chuckled still in shock. "What a bunch of jerks how could he speak to you like that? Im so done with them and their bullshit." Arvin's breathing heavy.

"It's all good Arvin, how about you are you okay?" I asked as I went closer to him rubbing my hand up and down his arm as a way of comforting him. "I'm okay now knowing he didn't get his hands all over you." Arvin said smiling at me but still just as angry as he was before. We both walked to the car and sat in the car as the radio came on again. "Thanks by the way for protecting me, that's a really nice thing to do." I smiled as I put my seatbelt on. "You help my family so much it's the least I can do and your a friend of Lenora's so you are most definitely a friend of mine." He proudly spoke starting the car. A small tint of pink grew on my face as he called me a friend of his, luckily he was too concentrated on the road to notice it. Suddenly, we got to the house and it was time for me to go. "Bye Arvin, thanks again tell Lenora that I've gone home." I smiled as I waved at him walking too my house. A small smile crept onto his face as he watched me walk away. "Hey mom here is some medicine for your sickness!" I said handing my mother the bag with the medicine. "Thank you honey, you help me so much!" My mom said as she caressed my cheek. I walked to my room to think about the events of the day that I just had.

Arvin angrily walked into his house accidentally slamming the door behind him. "You won't believe what happened at the store." Arvin stormed into the living room where his whole family were sat down. "What? You got medicine what a surprise I mean that is what you went there for!" Lenora said sarcastically. "No, those douchebags Gene Dinwoodie, Tommy Matson, and Orville Buckman were there and they were being such jerks to Jade, especially Tommy he was practically hitting on her, ugh I wanted to bash his head in or maybe nearly murder him." Arvin informed his family angrily his jaw clenched. "Wait what no way how could he do that to somebody as sweet as Jade I wish I was there so I could have saved her like how she did when we first met." Lenora spoke as she felt bad for her best friend. "Don't worry Lenora I dealt with it, it would have been a lot worse if you were there." He took his cap off running his fingers through his hair. "You're really worked up about this huh?" Lenora asked him as he sat on the chair twiddling his thumbs his breathing heavy. "The way he talked to her made me angry no person should talk to any girl like that do you know how angry it made me." Arvin spoke calming down the teensiest bit. "Maybe it wasn't how he was speaking to her, I think that you didn't like the fact that he was touching her and you weren't." Lenora said half joking. "Shut up Lenora, that is definitely not what was happening he is such a jerk he shouldn't touch any girl like that." He defended. "I was joking Arvin relax but calm down a bit yeah?" Lenora informed sitting down where she was sitting before. Arvin didn't know what he was feeling was Lenora right?
