I walked into the locker room and began to change. As I put on my gym shorts, I could hear Brandon and Nick talking about teams for doge ball. My stomach twisted. Humiliation clouded the court.

Everyone stood in a line to be picked by the captains. I'm one of the last ones to get picked. That comes with sucking at sports.

"Alright," Coach said,"Everyone take your side." He blew his whistle and everyone ran for a ball. Thankfully, I was able to snag one to use as a shield. I ran for the back and stood at the wall to avoid the game. A ball darted right for me. I slid on the ground to avoid it. As I got up, I realized that there were only three members on my team left. The ones who stand in the back to avoid playing like me. One by one they got hit. I was the only one left.

"Don't just stand there! Throw a ball!" Brandon yelled. He hates losing. I took a step forward, aimed my ball, and threw it. Missed, damn.

"Shane hurry up and get out so the girls can play," A voice yelled. It was Morgan. I gave her a look and she laughed. A ball slammed into my head full force. I fell on the ground and sighed. "Way to go loser, way to go," Brandon said while walking past me.

"Are you ok?", I jerked up. "You got hit pretty hard. Oh sorry my name's Hazel. You're Shane right?"

"Yeah," I said while getting up off the floor. She looked me up and down and walked away. Who is she? I thought. I've never seen her before.

"Girls, you're up." Morgan ran to the court. She is always ready for action. Anthony and I are always trailing behind her.

Coach blew his whistle and the girls began to play. "I love when the girls play." "Admit it Corbin, you just like to stare at their asses. It's the only action you can get." Emmit said while slapping Corbin's back, "You especially like to stare at Morgan." My face turned red. They don't even know her.

SLAM

The loud noise got every ones attention. Hazel stood on the gym floor with a smile on her face. The wall crumbled where the ball hit it. "What the hell," Coach mumbled as he ran towards the wall. Hazel then turned her head and looked at me. I felt a chill go down my spine.
