"Shane!" Anthony yelled down the hall as Morgan ran towards me. I stopped and waited. They both had a look of empathy on their faces. A sigh escaped my mouth. "Lets go get lunch," Morgan said while hugging me. Anthony then put his hand on my shoulder and gave me a reassuring smile.

"The whole car was on fire. How did he live and only get a few scratches? Not even burnt?" Tanner questioned. "His brother got cooked," Nick sneered. "Freak's hiding something," Brandon said as he rubbed his chin.

Morgan shot them a look. I balled my fists. I could feel my temperature rising quick. "Dude, are you ok?" Anthony asked while staring at me. "I've got to," I said nervously then put my hands in my jacket pockets and ran out of the cafeteria. People are everywhere. I fell to my knees.

As I was about to go up in flames, I felt someone yank me by my jacket hood. I was pulled into a class room. Hazel was the only one in there. "Get away!" I yelled while trying to calm myself. Fire covered my body. Hazel took the fire extinguisher off the wall and sprayed me with it. I looked at her in shock. "Don't tell," The words escaped my mouth as I breathed heavily. "You need to learn how to control it. What are you going to do if you 'flame out' in front of everyone?" Hazel asked while glaring at me. "What's--"

"We are alike Shane," she interrupted. I Gave her a look of confusion. Hazel held out her arms and closed her eyes. Desks began to float around the room. She smiled. "See. I can help."
