"What do you mean he's back!" Kaius yelled.

Jansens eyes narrowed down at Kaius, still remaining deadpanned. "I mean that he's back."

"Well if he is, then what does he have to do with Opheila?"
Everyone looked at eachother, exchanging expressions while Saige's eyes remained upwards and looked up at the sky. The wind slowly picked up speed following the clouds embedding swirls forming into a thunderstorm.

    "I don't know. But I have a feeling he's…—"

Suddenly the ground shook as the thunder boomed across the sky sending lightning hitting the ground.

"We'll continue this conversation inside!" Jansen called before breaking into a sprint back into the house.
Everyone else quickly followed behind, throwing over whatever jacket they had on their backs over them.

Once we made it back inside everyone at the party was already sitting down at the kitchen table making bracelets and playing two truths one lie.

"We'll go upstairs." I said to Serena, gesturing to the rest of the group to follow.

"So Who exactly are we talking about?"

"It's a long story." Saige replied with an annoyed tone.

"I have time."

"Not for long." Jansen said avoiding eye contact and staring outside of my bedroom window.

My eyes widen as I turn to face Jansen. "What do you mean by that…?"

Jansen stayed quiet enduring the intensive thought. "I mean We don't exactly know what his motivations are behind you or why you keep experiencing this rush of fear."

"Then we should get moving and actually do something!"

Jansen stayed quiet once again and kept his eyes on the rain scattered window. The thunder kept on rumbling as the rain came down harder.
Suddenly there was a knock on my door.
"Ophelia!"

It was my mom.

"Come in!" I said quickly sitting down beside Saige and Serena.

The door opened revealing my mother who sighed with relief. "I was worried where you were! The storm out there is quite crazy… I haven't seen one quite like this one!" She laughed awkwardly.

"Thank you for letting us come over." Saige turned to her with a smile. My mom's smile grew.

"It was seriously no problem!"  She waved her hands dismissively before heading back to the open door. "I'm glad Opheila is hanging out with people her age. Anyways! Enjoy the party! Cake will be in 20 minutes!."

Serena waved to my mom as she closed the door behind her.

"So you're telling me your brother has the power to make illusions and has been targeting me ever since I've stepped foot into this town. Well now that's just crazy!" I stood up, looked at everyone. Serena's eyes quickly shot to the floor. "Please tell me it's a joke!"

Everyone stayed quiet, once again avoiding eye contact. I slowly sat back down beside Saige and Serena.

" ..Continue." I looked at the corner of my eye to Jansen eyeing me with pity and annoyance. I returned the look and he sighed.
"Well nothing yet has been fully confirmed but still keep an eye out at all times." Jansen informed.

"Thank you captain obvious! As if that isn't common sense." Saige waved his hands sarcastically and stood up. "I'm heading home."

"In the middle of a storm?"
