I stare at the beast, it was dead and hideous. Nothing I had ever seen before.
"Jack." Says a voice, and I see a hand reach out to me. I take it and it pulls me up, my heart is still racing from the attack that I don't even hear him. "Hello? Earth to strange girl." He waves his hand in front of my face. I snap into reality and look at him.
He was tall, with bright blue eyes hiding behind his long brown hair. "Oh, umm.. I'm, well I don't really remember."
"That's a long name." He jokes and smiles. I smile back at him, "OH MY GOSH! Violet!" I yell as I bolt down the path. I hear Jack's footsteps following me and I'm kind of glad, he did kill that beast .
I finally come upon Violet, but something is wrong, she looks pale and she doesn't seem to breathing. She lies on the ground limp and motionless.
Am I too late?
