When she finished telling her story we were all silent, staring down at our hands or feet. Hailey got up and started for the door. Not even Jack had the guts to stop her, "Now as you can see I can protect myself and I don't need you." She snapped and then left. The sun was now rising over the horizon and the howls of monsters signaled that day was here and the creatures were gone.
"We need to get food and water,"Jack whispered, "be back soon." And he too went down the tree.
Three weeks later(or so we think)
We have a team now, six of us; Jack, violet, Ray, Joanna, Lillian, and myself. We have seen many people come through here Hailey, Josh, and Abby are just a few of the people, many of the people we never knew the names of because they came during the night and they died before we could get to them, but the most interesting was when we met Keli.
