🖤The truth is, everyone is going to hurt you. You just got to find the ones worth suffering for.🖤

You walked through the halls of the building quickly as you held your purse against yourself, quickly passing by people, not paying them any mind and almost bumping into them. You needed to leave. You can't think about this right now. You don't want to deal with this situation right now. Not here. Not where you are. Not with him.

You quickly passed the people seated at the front desk, not responding to their farewells, only looking forward to getting out of this stale, stiff, and small-spaced building. You don't know if you're hallucinating or not, but you're pretty sure that the walls are closing and caving in.

Emma sat in the chair, waiting patiently while playing a video game she occasionally played on her cellular device. She hummed a soft tune quietly as her fingers swiped across the screen repeatedly while listening to the music through her white head Phones.

In the corner of her eye, she saw someone walking near her, drawing her attention to you. She removed one of her earbuds and smiled up at you as you continued to walk.

"How did everything go?"

When she noticed that you weren't attempting to slow down any sooner, she gave you a concerned look watching as you walked past her with a troubled look of your own. She quickly grabbed her belongings and stood up from her chair to follow you through the front doors.

"Y/n?"

She called as you walked through the front of the parking lot.

"What's wrong?"

When you got near the car, you quickly turned around. "Can you take me to the store, please?"

She stuffed her phone into her pocketbook, struggling to do so before looking back at you to meet your eyes. "W-why? What happened?"

"Please, Emma," you said, holding your hands together. "I'll tell you. I promise. I need to go to the store."

Emma shocked her head no and looked at you with a pity look before looking at her wristwatch and then back to you. "I'm sorry, but I can't do that. Ray said to take you back home as soon as you're finished with your appointment." She quickly grabbed her keys and unlocked the door, getting inside, and she hoped and prayed that you would do the same.

You didn't want to cause a scene, and she didn't want to bring any more attention to your odd behavior. You don't know who is around watching and listening to your conversation.

Thinking about the situation made the orange-haired girl regret it even more because she brought the raven-haired male's name up in the middle of the conversation.

You got into the car with shaky hands and rubbed your ear in irritation, trying to think of any way for your friend to take you to the doctor.
