6. Dinner with me tomorrow?

"So?" Kiara asked me as she sat. Nope, as she jumped on the bed beside me.

She stayed at my house for a sleepover. We usually did sleepovers either at my house or her apartment.

"So?" I asked back. I knew the question was coming up. She was just waiting for us to get into my room so she could shower me with her questions.

"You said yes?" she asked, raising her eyebrows doubtfully.

Of course she would doubt because I was the one who said I didn't want to marry and here in just one meeting I said yes.

"Hmm." I replied as I picked a book from my bookshelf and settled back on the bed.

I love reading stories at night.

That too Rom-com and thriller.

What's your fav genre?

"You like him?" She asked interestedly, trying to peek at me.

"He seemed alright." I said flipping the pages of my book trying to find where I had to continue since I forgot to put a bookmark.

"And handsome too, right?" She asked teasingly. Right.

"Shut up." I said turning to her and shaking my head seeing that teasing smile on her face.

"I need details." She said turning completely towards me with her legs crossed one above the other.

"What details?"

"What did you both talk about?"

"And why do you want to know that?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Come on, I am your best friend." She whined proudly.

"Thanks. I didn't know." I rolled my eyes and returned to the book in my hand.

Kiara snatched the book from me.

"Kiara!" I whined as she closed the book and placed it on the table far from my reach.

"Tell me." She ordered. God, she could be so demanding at times.

"We just asked each other some basic questions to know about one another. That's it." I told her and she nodded.
