"Yeah, okay. So we will leave now. Let's go. Bye, everyone." Aditya said hurriedly and pulled me to stand up.
It was afternoon now and we were sitting in the hall as everyone talked about something and something, while the elders were in the other room, discussing the engagement function.
"Yeah we know you are so eager to go with your girl... how did you even stay back till now?" Sid teased sarcastically and everyone laughed at his comment while I blushed.
"FYI, it's my girlfriend's birthday. So isn't it obvious that we are supposed to spend time together?" Aditya said sweetly, pressing a chaste kiss on the side of my head.
"Ooh!!" Everyone started hooting while I blushed profusely and hid my face in his chest. He chuckled and wrapped his arm around me.
"Shut up, guys. Don't tease my girl." He said. He had become bolder with his words and actions after his confession.
Like when we were having breakfast, he took a chance when no one was looking and kissed me on the cheek, while his hand remained on my bare knee. Like an hour back, when I had gone to the kitchen to get some water, he had followed me. Pushed me against the wall beside the fridge. And kissed the hell out of me.
"Oh, now she is your girl!" Kiara teased him.
"She has always been my girl." He looked at me and then he was saying bye to everyone. I smiled and mumbled a quick bye as he intertwined our fingers and led us out.

"What are these papers?" I asked, looking at him, before I read them.
We were at his restaurant for lunch and after we placed the order, he passed me a file that he brought out from the car when we had walked in, and I was as curious as a child.
"Guess." He mumbled with a smile and I thought for a few seconds.
"Don't tell me these are some property papers, and you got a new home for us... blah blah... I wouldn't mind it but it's too soon for that I guess." I told him and he chuckled.
"No, they are not. It's something related to you." He said looking at me and without wasting my time guessing, I shifted my eyes to the paper to read them.
And as I did, my eyes widened in surprise. I looked up at Aditya to see him smiling at me, waiting to see my reaction.
"I have bought a new place to open one more restaurant, and I want you... and only you to do the designing." He said with so much intensity in his voice.
"And this is more like a gift to me because I will keep visiting the site and will probably get to spend time with you even when you are at work." He winked and I smiled looking all over his face.
"Come here," I whispered and he grinned as he leaned forward. I smiled and placed a very sweet kiss on his lips and could feel his smile widen.
"Thank you. I love you." I whispered in his ears and he looked at me lovingly as our eyes met.
