Sweet hug| Lee Jeno

"Chaewon!" The girl jolted awake, slowly lifting her head up from the desk.
"Sorry Miss."
She heard giggling coming from her classmates but didn't care. Maths wasn't her strongest subject, making her tired every time she stepped foot inside the classroom.
Humming mindlessly while jotting down notes, Chaewon sighed.
Her eyes drifted to a figure staring outside the window. Jeno, Lee Jeno, Chaewon's crush. It's been a few years since she started to like him. Though her feelings for him became stronger and stronger.

"What class do we have next?" Bora, her best friend, asked.
"Science. God I wanna die." Chaewon groaned as she threw her head back.
"Jeno's there."
"Wait what-"
Before she knew it, Chaewon bumped into a hard chest. Her books and folders all fell to the ground.
"Oh my god! I'm so sorry." She quickly picked up her belongings, finally meeting his eyes.
Jeno.
The girl took a few steps back to give him some space - clutching her folders in one hand and her bag in the other.
"It's fine."
She gave him a warm smile before he briskly walked past her.
"Girl please make a move. I'm tired of seeing you like this." Bora mumbled towards Chaewon.
"Yeah yeah I will don't worry." Not really focussing on the conversation, her eyes were fixed on his retreating figure, the small smile still on her lips.

Chaewon sat up in her bed, letting out a soft yawn and leaning over to grab her phone.
She was scrolling through her Instagram feed when she saw Jeno's new post. Squealing, the girl instantly messaged her friend, spammed her friend actually.
Jeno and Chaewon used to be really good friends but they drifted apart from each other.
Jeno joined the popular kids while Chaewon decided to keep a low profile.
Ever since they entered high school, he acted like he never met Chaewon. She, on the other hand, would still ask him about his day even if he wasn't interested.

"Maybe I should post something too, right?"
"Do whatever you want. Honestly you should post the picture you took yesterday." Chaewon was on a phone call with Bora.
"Really? Thought the other one was better to be honest. I'll post it."

10 minutes later:

The girl was completing her homework when she heard a buzz coming from her phone.

That one notification made Chaewon gasp. "Oh my god, he liked my post!" She held her phone to her chest as she kicked her legs in the air.
"What are you screaming for?" Bora called out, Chaewon forgetting she was still there.
"Jeno liked my post. Imagine if he commented, I'd die-"
Another buzz.
