Closing the classroom door behind her, Chaewon felt nervous. She really didn't know what he was going to say seeing as Jeno was unpredictable. "So, what is it?"
He took a deep breath before starting. "About what happened last night. You know, us sleeping together and whatever. Not in that way. Can you, you know, not tell people?"
"Oh."

To say Chaewon felt embarrassed was an understatement. A couple of minutes passed and no one had said a word. Did he feel..embarrassed? All she wanted was for the ground to open up and swallow her whole.
"Uh yeah sure I won't tell people. Don't worry."
Plastering a fake smile, Chaewon exited the room - her mind replaying his words.

Jeno kept staring at her for the rest of the day, thinking about whether his words hurt her or not. "Jeno? You were zoning out." Haechan nudged him, following his eyes to see what he was looking at. "Lover boy has a new crush?"
"Shut up Haechan."
He rolled his eyes as he shut his text book and got up from the library. "She's with Jisung."
Jeno stopped in his tracks, turning around to look at Haechan in confusion.
"Chaewon, she's with Jisung right now. I know you're looking for her."

Stepping into the cafeteria, he noticed Jisung, Chaewon and Bora sitting together, conversing with each other. He slowly walked over to the group, not knowing what to do or say.
"Shush Jisung. You can't even do basic math."
"Says the girl who failed English like five times."
"You take that back-"
"Guys shut up." Chaewon looked up to see Jeno standing next to them. "Hey."
"Why are you here?" Bora replied bluntly.

He wanted to make things better with Chaewon, but he didn't know if he could even do that anymore. "I'll just sit here today."
Stifling a laugh, Jisung stared at the boy in front of him.
This was going to be a long day.
