It was finally exam season, well, midterms. Though it didn't matter to Chaewon, exams were exams and she wanted to always get 100%. "Maths exams tomorrow." Bora reminded her friend while she was taking books out of her locker. She groaned in frustration, trying to skip it yet she knew she couldn't. "Maths is basically useless. Why do I need to know how many apples Tom has? When I see that Tom I swear I'm gonna-"
"Jeno. To your left."

Chaewon looked to her side so fast her neck could've snapped. "Where?" What she didn't realise was Bora laughing to the point where she was clutching her stomach. "You should've seen yourself."
"Idiot." She scoffed and briskly walked away to her next lesson which unfortunately was maths.

Chaewon woke up hearing the sound of her teacher wrapping up the lesson. "Don't forget to revise well." Was the last words she could even comprehend before running out of the classroom. "Chaewon!" A voice called her, his voice. Turning around with a smile on her face, she walked towards him.
"Yeah? What do you want?
"Can I not see my friend?" He swung his arm around her shoulder while the other one ruffled her hair.

She was about to look over her shoulder when she noticed a pair of dark eyes staring at her. It was Hannah, one of Jeno's ex's. Everything about her was perfect, from her blond hair to her plump lips. No one really understood why Jeno broke up with her. Some speculated that she cheated on him, others thought that he just ghosted her. They were the it couple. Chaewon felt oddly intimidated under her scrutiny.

His eyes flickered to her chocolate ones. "What. Do I have something on my face?"
"You're just ugly Chae."
"Oh shut up Jisung." A small smirk grew on Jeno's lips, chuckling at the sight in front of him. He missed the bickering, the fun times they used to all have together.
"So, did you finally find a boyfriend Bora?" The question caught the girl off guard and choked on her food. "Boyfriend? You have to be joking."

"What about you Chaewon?" It was now Jisung who asked, smiling teasingly at the girl.
She looked around to find help but nothing. Smiling awkwardly, her gaze fell upon Jeno who looked like he really wanted to hear an answer.
"Uh I-I don't know. But did you know that snakes can grow legs and actually rule the world so for that case I'm going to have to leave but it was nice speaking to you guys." The girl rambled before grabbing her bag and running off.
"She's definitely something."
