The next day, Brianna got a suspicious letter from Alice inviting Brianna to her party. Not that Brianna didn't know better than not to go.
Fine. She went.
Brianna wanted to give Alice a second chance- like, come on, it could've been a normal party!
It wasn't.
What normal party was in a house, with computer screens taped to cover every. Inch. Of. The. Wall. Surface. Area.
With Alice's face from a Zoom meeting no less? It was ridiculous.
Then again, Alice was ridiculous.
"Hi!" squeaked the video call of Alice. "Please enter the room where the others are waiting."
Brianna shouldn't have trusted her, but she did. And boy did she regret it.
As soon as she entered into the room where her friends were waiting, it started flooding with lava.
