"Tu khush hai na bacche?".Rita maa asked stroking his head lovingly as he was sleeping in her lap snuggled to her stomach.
"Bahut jyada...Papa ke jane ke bad se le kar abhi sabse jyada khush hoon".He replied snuggling to her more.
The light was gone and they were lying down on the mat in the corridor far from everyone soaking in some night cool breeze.
"Aur isliye main shayad sabse jyada khush hoon?...baat karoon...aage ka kya socha hai tune...".She asked.
"Kya Maa?".He said lightly.
"Don't act smart beta..Maa hoon teri Maa!!...yahan gaanv me bahut log pooch rahe hai teri shadi ke liye..naye naye rishte la rahe hai...tujhe karni hai shadi ,ya main apni pasand ki ladki ke liye baat aage badhaon..kal parents bhi aa rahe hai uske".
"What?,...nahi karni maa sabko mana kar do..apko kya ho gaya hai aaj".He spoke looking at her.
"My son is happy and I want his happiness to grow more...kal Shukla's aa rahe hai ...main unki beti ko apni beti banana chahti hoon aur teri biwi".
"Hmmm....Shukla?? Kya...aap Shehnaaz ke parents ki baat kar rahe ho?".He spoke sitting straight now.
"Aur nahi to kya?".She said laughing.
"Wo Maa...Shehnaaz ...I mean uska main ...kaise samjhaon aapko...I mean ...you know na how it is...but I don't wanna repeat my past mistake...let me first talk to her and things should be clear from her side..I don't know what she wants...she...me..I mean..we both need some time to explore these things ".He spoke.
"Ok! Take your time...kal ja usko le kar ...koi tujhse kuch nahi poochne wala waise bhi..sab itne to samjhdar hai hi ki teri mehbooba ka pata hai sabko".She said chuckling as Sidharth joined her.
"yaar tum log itni raat ko kahan bhatak rahe ho..thakte nahi ho kya".He asked as he saw Sana,Aaru,Meenu ,Pihu and Mansi coming.
"Hum cards khel rahe the bargad ke ped ke neeche ,lantern jala kar,talab ke pas wale chabutre par..wo bhi andhere me..kaali chudail ke sath...are dekho light aa gayi..maine hi us chudail ko maar maar kar light bheji hai".Pihu said.
"Haan wo chudail tu hi to hai...aur lantern bi jala tha,andhera bhi tha...ye talent to bas Pihu chudail me hi hai na".He said..everyone laughed.
"Are nahi...ghar par taash khel rahe the..kal to aap sab chale jayenge na".Meenu said sadly.
"Are to sab shadi ke liye aa to rahe ho..aur kal ki Mehandi ,sangeet ke liye bhi...warna bacchon ke bina maaza kya".Rita Maa said.
"Maine to dance bhi prepare kiya hai...aaolooo ukhare..aaloo bukhare...karare wala song".Mansi said dancing around.
"aaloo bade karare baba".Aaru spoke shrugging her head.
"Haan wohi".Mansi said yawning.
"Chalo so jao sab..kal early morning Patna bhi nikalana hai sabko ,yahan ka sara kaam nipta kar ,Sidharth settle the bills for all the functions here ".Rita Maa spoke ready to leave as he nodded.
"Baby!".
"hmm...."
"Tu ye so kyon rahi hai itna chipak kar...yahan sab ghoorte hai ..and I don't like it..theek se baith".Sidharth was driving to JanakPur Dham.
"Kya yaar ek to subah subah 5 baje utha kar le aaya bike par bitha kar aur sone bhi nahi deta...tujhe itni kharish hai na ..ye hoga..wo hoga..ye dekhte hai..wo dekhte hai..ab koi nahi dekhega chal..".Sana complained covering her whole face with lavender dupatta as the wind was blowing really fast.
