Chapter 18

A loud pounding on the door awakened you, you were asleep and although it was probably take, you still felt exhausted. Groaning, you pull the covers off your body, but you don't even question as to why the heat of the sun didn't bother you. By now, you were covered in a sheet of sweat, but, you continue to the door even ignoring how you might look.

As you make your way to the door, the pounding continued. It's when you finally open the door that you release a sigh of relief.

Temari,Kankuro and a smaller boy stand in front of you. However, Temari is the one to capture your attention, there's a large frown on her face as she sent you a glare. "I have been knocking on the door for minutes. Shouldn't you have been awake by now?"

Letting out a yawn, you straighted up. "Sorry, I felt so tired that I lost track of time while I was asleep. Does the Kazekage need me?"

Her frown remained for a few seconds until she sighed. Kankuro glanced at the girl, and shook his head. "Yes. We'll wait for you here while you get ready."

Nodding you're about to leave but you cannot help but stare at the younger boy. He looked to be around the same age as Naruto and the other boys, but unlike the others, he looked different..Not sad, but just.. Brocken. For a moment Sasuke's imagine flashed across your mind, and you can't help but feel guilty.

You got to know about  the other boys, but at some extent, Sasuke understood you. How could you leave without even telling him? Looking away, you leave the door open and go to your room to get ready.

As you do, you can't help but feel that you may have left unfinished with those boys. The should have at least gotten a goodbye from you. Maybe when you go back to the Leaf to help, you can try to fix that if he is willing to hear you out.

It didn't take long for you to change and make yourself presentable, and to be honest you didn't want to make Temari angrier than she already was.

"Finally, come on, follow us." And that you did.

But, when you were trailing behind, the smaller boy just kept staring at you. It wasn't that stare that showed interest, it was more of anger and hatred. Even if he was younger than you, that didn't mean that fear crawled deep withing you. On your way, you tried to ignore him, and just kept staring up at head.

The Kazekage must have some information for you since you were taken to his office rather than that other place. The trio made their way inside without being stopped, but what was more surprising was the looks that the red haired boy received. It wasn't like he cared anyway, his glare was very deathly coming from a mere boy.

It didn't take long for you to be allowed to enter the office, while the trio left soon after. The young Kazekage had been occupied with a pile of documents, but as soon as you entered, he motioned for you to take a seat as he retrieved a scroll. "The Hokage has requested for you to return and aid them with their investigation." 

The scroll remained on the desk, unopened. "When will I leave?"

"There is no date yet, however, before you leave I do believe it's time to give me a response. " You thought about it and no matter how much you thought, you just couldn't bring yourself to do it. " Let me put it this way, " he continued, " there are other girls like you. And u like you, they're still trapped in those places. They have no one to help them. " You shuddered at the thought, you really didn't wish that to even your worst enemy. " Do you know how much power you have? How much you would be able to help them escape, to find those sick monsters. I'll be honest with you [Name], and surely you already know. Your information it's valuable but most of those men will be investigated and if they're not linked to the case then they'll be set free. They'll. Continue to do it, many young girls  are taken each year but not enough attention is given to their case. If you accept my offer, you'll be giving this case. Of course, you'll be given a team. " The way his eyes narrowed made you believe that he was either taking something into consideration or he had doubts. "You've met Temari, Kankuro and Gaara, have you not?"Gaara, that must be the boy you met today. Nodding you let him know that you did. But once again he seemed to ponder about something until he continued. "They're my children," furrowing his eyebrows and then shook his head, "anyway, I'll be providing you with a personal trainer. That is of course, if you do accept my offer. If you have any questions about being a Ninja, you can ask any of them."

But he has given you enough time, and it was time to answer. You didn't want to accept it, but many were not lucky like you. Despite saving yourself of course, but they didn't have anyone else to free them. But they could...If you prepared yourself then you would be able to help them...Since you were six,when they took you, you always hoped that someone would come and help you all. But no one showed up, no one showed up when Hana was taken too... Perhaps... Perhaps you could do something...Perhaps you could be that somebody..."When...When would I start?"  

The Kazekage finally smiled, and this time it didn't go away. " We will discuss that when you get back from the Leaf Village."
