Chapter 34

Not a single sign of fear was showed on your face as you narrowed your eyes."I am assuming you're not the leader, are you? No wonder your coat seems familiar, now I see why." Before you agreed to leave with them, you wanted some answers. Chances are, you're not going to get out of this one alive.

"What is she talking about, Sempai?" The lively one asked scratching his scalp in confusion.

Deidara did not give  Tobi  his attention as he grew curious about what the girl was talking about. "So you've seen some of us before? Tell me, who did you see?"

That's not what you wanted, why couldn't he give you a simple answer? "At first I didn't think much of it when I saw the two of them, but I should have seen it. It's no coincidence that they were there during our mission. I never thought that you guys worked like an organization, or at least not to this magnitude. All this time I have been doing the wrong thing, had I known it was you, I should have started with you guys. Once the main source was destroyed, the rest would come crumbling down."

Now it was Deidara's turn to look more confused than Tobi. "What the hell are you rambling on about? I have no idea what you're saying, it doesn't make sense to me, un."

"Don't play innocent, you know what I am talking about! Otherwise you wouldn't be here to personally kill me!" You growled as rage began to boil your blood.

A soft laugh left his lips as if you had just told him some sort of joke. "Again, you got it all. I don't know what you're talking about, and I am not here to kill you. Unless you refuse to come with us." A dangerous glint filled his eye. "Now come on." But when he caught your eyes traveling to your friends, a wide grin stretched across his lips. "They're useless to us, we just want you." So if they were not here to kill you and they were not interested in your friends, then who the hell are they? Then, maybe you could give it a chance t- "Don't even think about it, just because these two are of no use to us, doesn't mean we can't just kill them at once."

Next thing you know, he  appeared at your side while the other one jumped just a little excited, shaking the branch just a little. Every muscle in your body tensed having him that close. You could try to fight but you'll be putting the others at risk. So, as the blond male rose to his feet and turned to face you, you only remained in your spot. Even as you saw his movements to strike, you remained rooted to your spot. The air was knocked out of you as a strong fist collided with your stomach, seconds later something collided with the back of your head. What followed next, you did not witness as you felt your feet giving away and falling forward. Your senses were gone and you were pushed into the depths of darkness.

Deidara took you in his arms before your body fell to the ground like a sack of potatoes. His eyes noticed a train of blood running down the side of your neck, realizing that he had used more force than intended. Either way, he lowered you to the ground to free his arms.

As Tobi his way down with the two males on both shoulders, Deidara had already created a giant bird. "Sempai, what do we do with these two?"

"I don't care what you do with them, but hurry we need to head back, un." Just as he replied, he positioned you on the bird as be too got on it.

Without a second thought, Tobi released the bodies without a care and jumped on the giant bird taking a seat at your side. As they started to leave, Deidara didn't think much about the weird silence coming from Tobi. His eye trailed to his childish partner and noticed how attentive and serious Tobi looked as he observed your unconscious form. Either way, he was just glad that for once he could enjoy the given silence.

People say that one should be prepared for the consequences of our actions, but are you? It would be plain to see that once you had made your choices there would be consequences. Even if you thought that what you were doing was the right thing and that you were doing humanity a favor.
