Goodbye

"M-M-Meliodas!" Y/n called out while the blonde was pleasuring her with his tongue. The blonde chuckled while moving between her legs to rest his head on her chest, "Exactly how I like to see you." He was pretty satisfied with himself.

Y/n's face reddened, but she continued playing with his hair, "if you really like me like this, you should wake me up every morning this way."

Meliodas' smirk didn't hide the evil in his eyes, "Is that a challenge?"

 A little while later

Y/n, Meliodas, and Zeldris were chatting in the sitting area before breakfast. Zeldris couldn't help but notice how attached his brother and y/n had become in such a short amount of time. His brother looked relaxed for the first time in months. Zeldris let out a small sigh, "Brother, I talked to Ban and Merlin."

Meliodas raised an eyebrow in surprise, "you did?"

"Yes. It appears that y/n's powers are starting to awake faster than Merlin initially expected. She needs to go back to the Demon Realm."

"No!" Meliodas and y/n both shouted in protest.

"Staying in Britannia will only make her a danger to herself and others."

Meliodas held onto y/n's hand in support, "then I will go back with her."

Zeldris shook his head in annoyance, "You know that's not an option, brother. You're King, for god's sake!"

"There's got to be another way. You could stand in my place, or the advisors can handle the-"

"It's okay," y/n interrupted him, "I'll go."

"No, please," Meliodas held her hand tighter as he pleaded.

"You are King and the face of the demon clan. You have to stay here. Besides, I don't want to be a danger to anyone."

Zeldris pitched in before his brother could respond, "Then it's settled. I already started making the arrangements anyways. Merlin will open one of the portals, and Ban will go with her for protection. Elaine already agreed to him staying with y/n for protection until you can come back."

"Ugh, I have to stay with the cheater longer?" Y/n's eyes flashed a dark purple in annoyance.

Meliodas chuckled at her. "Thank you, Zeldris."

"Don't thank me yet; you need to talk to her about the other thing."

Y/n perked up, "what other thing?"

Meliodas sent daggers to Zeldris, "there's no other thing."

"Meliodas, what other thing?" Meliodas gulped, and Zeldris flinched as y/n's power grew dense and evil.

"S-so y/n, you know how I talked to the council?" Y/n continued to eye him. "I kindly let them know of your existence and importance to me. They weren't happy about it, but we came to an arrangement."

"An arrangement?"

"The advisors agreed to give you a chance, but you will need to take lessons in the history and culture of our race."

The boys sighed in relief as y/n's power started to settle down. "Oh, that doesn't sound too bad. I am interested in learning more about the race anyways."

"And.." Zeldris encouraged Meliodas to continue.

"And you must take etiquette classes to learn how to properly act like a demon noble."

Y/n's eyes turned dark in an instant. "Excuse me, what?!" The presence of her power started to rise again.

"They want to make sure you can handle yourself in," Meliodas paused to think, "delicate political situations."

"Am I not proper enough?! Do you think I'm going to embarrass you?! Do you not trust my father raised me properly?!"

Zeldris tried to clarify the situation before y/n destroyed the castle. "Y/n, with all due respect, the advisors would like you to attend these courses so you can learn about the different demon customs and traditions."

Y/n rolled her eyes at Zeldris, "ever the politician."

Meliodas continued, "I was able to talk them into allowing Gelda to instruct you."

Y/n smiled brightly, "okay, but only because Gel is helping!"

The two boys' sweat dropped at her sudden change of emotions.

That afternoon 

Later y/n was in the room packing up her belongings. She couldn't help but think about all she had been through in the last couple of weeks. Her entire life turned upside down but improved exponentially.

Y/n's eyes sparkled as she thought about how far she and Meliodas had become. She never thought she would be in some sort of relationship with the demon king in a million years. But what exactly are we? She frowned slightly and shook the thoughts out of her head. She was trying to focus her attention on packing instead.

That didn't last long as someone knocked on her door. "Hey Princess, you in here?"

Y/n frowned at the tall man entering her room. "Oh, look the cheaters back."

Ban rolled his eyes at her, "you'd think a locked up princess would already be packed up and ready to escape."

"Quit your complaining, and come help me."

"Sate sate sate, you two are bickering already?" Meliodas walked through, surprising the two.

"MELI!" Y/n jumped into the blonde's arms while wrapping her legs around him. "YOU CAME TO SAY GOODBYE!"

Meliodas chuckled at her antics "of course I did, princess. Wouldn't miss the chance to squeeze your ass one last time."

Y/n's face turned bright red as she threw herself off the pervert. But it was too late. He had her pinned to the bed in a millisecond.

"FUCK, THAT'S HOT!" Meliodas jumped off y/n and ran into the shower as fast as he could. The Dragonborn may have accidentally burned him to get him off of her.

Ban couldn't stop cracking up, "serves you, right, Captain!"

"S-sorry, meli."

.......

Merlin, Elaine, and Zeldris had joined the trio for Ban and Y/n's send-off. 

Y/n had a frown on her face, "I guess I didn't get to see my father again before leaving."

Meliodas gave her a soft smile and squeezed her hand, "don't worry, Y/n! Once we get everything figured out, he can come to visit."

Y/n only squeezed his hand in reply. She was getting a little frustrated with him. Meliodas said we, but she hasn't had any say at all. Most of all, she was upset about parting ways with him, even if it was only temporary. 

After Ban and Elaine said their goodbyes and finally detached themselves from each other, Ban spoke up, "Alright, Merlin, I don't have all day."

Merlin smirked as a portal opened up in front of them. Y/n was in awe of its bright purple hue. She let out a squeak when Meliodas suddenly squeezed her ass hard. 

"I'm going to miss this." Y/n glared at him before giving him a tender kiss on his forehead, "I will see you soon." 

Meliodas rested his head on hers. They looked into each other's eyes, having a silent mourning conversation before y/n stepped through the portal; Ban followed along.
