Next day:

I was tired but I still managed to get ready and get to school on time.
The first half of my day was boring until I got to lunch. I sat with my friends like I regularly do, I saw Dustin and his group of friends at the other table. I looked at Eddie as he read the newspaper.

Robin looked at me and smiled "you guys catching this" she said to the table.

"What?" Vicki asked

"Y/n is staring so hard at The hellfire table over there."

"Oh my god" I heard Nancy say

"What? No I'm not!" I said

"You were!" Nancy laughed

"No! I wasn't! I was looking behind him.."

"Behind who?"

"No one! Oh my god, I hate all of them!"

"You liar!" Nancy said

"Me? No never"

Eddie got up and started walking on the tables

"But as long as your into band, or science, or parties, OR GAME WHERE YOU TOSS BALLS INTO LAUNDRY BASKETS!"

Jason got up "you want something freak?"

Eddie stuck is tongue out doing devil horns with his fingers mocking Jason.

I laughed at Eddie and Eddie's eyes found me in the crowd as he smiled at me waving a little.

He started walking back down the table.
"It's forced conforming-"

Just then Robin nudged my arm, I gave her a 'shut up' look

"THATS WHAT KILLING THE KIDS!" Eddie yelled jumping off the table. "That's the real monsters"
Eddie said sitting down.

I couldn't help but smile as I stared at him.

"She's totally staring at Eddie" Vicki said

I looked back at them
"I- was just- laughing at him, they all look stupid"
Robin nodded staring at me.

"10 bucks if you get him over here" Nancy said

"Deal" Robin smacked the table standing up.

"Wha- NO!" I looked at Robin quickly "Robin!" I
turned my head back to Nancy.

"Nancy why'd you do that?!?" I said worriedly

"Relax just be cool" Nancy said

"NANCY!"

I watched Robin approach Eddie tapping him on the shoulder and Eddie turned in his seat

Robin said something to him that I couldn't hear and the Eddie looked at me smiling.

"Oh my god" I looked away to avoid eye contact.
I started picking at my lunch with a fork trying to distract myself.

Shit what if he mentions our time we had yesterday or how we used to know each other in middle school... oh my god, calm down y/n.

Robin was back but this time she sat across from me leaving the spot next to me open. Eddie came and sat beside me. I kept my head down not looking at him as I picked my food. He looked at me and pushed my hair back so he could see my face.

"Missed me?" He said

"Shut up" I said picking at my food avoiding eye contact

"What's with the attitude hm? These guys bothering ya? Why don't you come sit with me?"
