~Welcome Back-

I watched Robin and Nancy talk, it looked like they were agreeing on something. I snapped out of it when I saw Steve walk by me.

I watched him walk past me and up to Eddie and Dustin. He sat next to Dustin and joined in on their conversation. I stayed in my corner before Chrissy came back to me.

"Chrissy why'd you bring Jason.

"Well he just wanted to be here, Nancy said it was okay" she smiled

"Hm"

"I'm sorry I know you two don't have the best history!"

"No it's fine I get along with him very well."

"Can't tell if that was sarcasm y/n but I'm going to assume it was."

I nodded

Nancy raised the volume of the music a little bit and Jason pulled Chrissy away from me. Chrissy apologized as he pulled her.

Now I was alone again. I finished my beer making my way to the kitchen and throwing it out and then grabbing a new one. I bumped into Steve as I turned around he picked me up.

"Steve!" I let out a shriek as he put me down to sit on the kitchen counter.

"Getting more drinks?" He took my drink out of my hand

"Maybe" I smiled looking at him.

"I think you had one too many"

"No, just one more" I said reaching out to my beer in his hand.

"Nope" he put his arm back holding the beer away from me
"Steve!" I reached out to his arm our faces coming closer as his arm got farther.

He looked into my eyes and I stopped focusing on the beer in his hand.

"Steve..." he stared in my eyes and I could see a smile slightly start to form as he looked at me.

I was focused on Steve until I heard something drop and then a voice in the distance.

"Uh- sorry" the voice said

I looked behind Steve.

Eddie was standing in the doorway.

Steve looked back at him as well.

Eddie quickly walked out the kitchen not saying another word.

Shit.

Steve turned back to look at me.

"What was that?"

I shrugged hopping off the counter.
"Can I have my beer now" I said asking him a little annoyed.

"Y/n I said-"

"I don't give a fuck what you said."

Steve laughed nervously "y/n? Did I do something?"
I sighed.

"Please Steve.." I said a little more softer realizing I was taking out my anger on him.

"I'm sorry. But you shouldn't be-"

"Ok this one's gonna be my last one"

Steve went silent for a second as I looked up at him.
"I'm sorry" he gave me the beer

"Thank you" I said taking it and walking out the kitchen.

I gave y/n her beer and watched her walk out the kitchen.. what was that about? We were fine until Eddie walked in...
Eddie ruined it..
I could've kissed her.
Fuck.

I stood in my corner again taking a sip of the new beer.
