"Leah, its me can I come in?"
"Hey Riley, yeah please enter the house honey, Sofia is getting her last stuff together. She'll be here in a minute."
"Okay great."

There's this weird tension between us that's difficult to describe. Leah probably knows that Sofia wanted to get out of the house and shes embarrassed that people (actually just me..) know about her and Angelo's complicated relationship.

Finally Sofia walks down the stairs and smiles when she sees me. "Rileyyy!!" She runs up to me and gives me the biggest hug ever. "Hey lil princess! Ready to have some fun??"

"Defenitely!" She seems so excited about this that I'm almost forgetting the reason why I'm taking her out. It makes me feel good tho. It feels more real as I expected. I was afraid I would be all nervous and stuff but now it really seems like a normal activity just for fun.

We walk out of the door to my bicycle. Sofia can sit in the back seat. "I'll bring her home in approximately 3 hours I think. Is that okay?" I ask Leah. "Yes of course baby doll! Have fun you two!" She kisses Sofia and strokes my cheek before she walks to the house again.

30 minutes later

"So tell me Soof, tell me what's on your mind. I'm just here to listen to you honey."
"Well, I told you my mom and dad were fighting right?"
"Yes you did."

"Well... My mom is ashamed of that I think. It started one month ago. They always used to love and like each other but I think they are no friends anymore."

"Hmm okay and do you know why that happened??"
"I'm not sure..."
"But??"
"Daddy is not at home often, he's always working. And mommy doesn't like that."

"And I heard her saying to him 'Are you really too busy with your hoe or do you have any time left for Sofia and me?' I don't know what hoe means. That's his job I think."

What the hellllll?? Angelo cheats on Leah? Leah must be so strong for pretending nothing happened. She does it for Sofia...

"Okay sofia, maybe you should talk to your dad about this. Tell him how much you miss him because he is busy with his... work all the time.
Maybe he will take more time for you and your mom."

"I hope so. I really love them and I want them to be happy. Just like Jennifer and Casper."

Jennifer and... Casper?? So they really are dating?? Omg plot twist! I mean we've seen them kiss backstage of american idol a few days ago... But they both denied that they are dating again...

Sofia clearly knows that they really are dating since soof's mom is Jen's bff. Okay. Its official. Harrifer is gone but I'm happy for jen

"Riley what are you thinking about?"
Sofia looks at me. Still a little bit sad and curious why I'm not responding. "Honey they will be happy again. They might not be happy together but they will be happy again. I can promise you that."

I hug her and we sit on the bench for a while. Talking about some other stuff and eating our ice cream. Shes the sweetest and I hope Angelo and Leah can solve their problems.
