Last night during dinner, Christie and I had such a good talk. We've ben talking about Nathan and Daniel of course. I wanted to know a lot about him becaus I'm just happy she's having a love in her life again.

It was so nice last night. We watched a movie after dinner and also that was very nice.

Now I'm just doing my homework. Unfortunately my school starts in 3 days.. Lately I've been having such a hard time with my dad's admittance in the clinic and Sofia having problems with her parents.

I haven't been doing a lot for school so now I've got the time again I have to work a lot to keep it up. I'm so happy its my last year on this school! Not that's its a bad school, the teachers and the students are all very cool but its just.. Its time for me to finally do what I really like. What I really want.

I'll take a sabbatical year and just go travelling I guess. Or working so I can save money for later. I'll see. Anything but school.

My phone makes a sound and I pick it up, which I shouldn't be doing since I'm doing my homework at the moment, but a little break can't do any harm.

Let's see what the notification is. Leah texted me. Oh maybe another question for me to babysit Sofia. I open her text. "Hey Riles, how are you? Sofia told me a few stuff that she's been worrying about lately and she told me she talked to you about it. Would you mind coming to our house this afternoon? I want to talk to Sofia and you. Angelo won't be here. I can pick you up if you'd like. Xx Leah"

Whoa what does she want? I hope she isn't mad at me for sticking my nose into their business... Let's just see what she has to say. I'll go.

"Hey Leah. I'm good! You? Yeah I'm sorry for that.. I just thought Sofia needed some space and privacy. Someone she could trust to tell her thoughts to. I'm sorry for sticking my nose into your business. Hope you're not that mad at me.. You can pick me up anytime. I'll come with you. Love, Riley"

"Oh don't worry honey I'm not mad at all! You did the right thing. Alright so I'll pick you up in 2 hours okay?"

"Okay see ya later then ."

2 hours later the doorbell rings. I already told Christie I'm going to Leah and she's fine with it. In the car its a little bit awkward. Leah is a bit ashamed that I know and Sofia is just talking and laughing. I talk with her until we arrive at home. I didn't say a word to Leah. Just 'hey'.

We arrive at their house and we go to the dining room to have lunch. When were finally all set around the dining table, Leah speaks: "Riley, as you know, Angelo and I have some marital problems at the moment."

She gives a quick glampse over to Sofia and gives her a comforting smile while softly rubbing her hand. Damn I miss my mother doing that to me...

"What I wanted to tell you, is that Angelo temporary stays over with a friend of his so he and I can have some time to think. We knew for a long time already that things weren't great between us... But I guess we never dare to say it out loud."

"We'd been having these pointless fights even more often and that's what made Sofia notice. I'm so glad she called you! *towards Sofia* you are so brave my lil girl! *kisses Sofia on forehead* Because of her and, of course, you, Angelo and I finally dare to say the truth."

"Now we're taking our times to think and realize if we should be having a divorce or fight for our love. So.. Thanks Riley. I really mean that. Thank you for helping us out here. I defenitely owe you one!" She walks over to me and gives me a long hug.

I hear her getting emotional and I hold her tight. "Don't worry Leah, it's gonna be fine. Its gonna be just fine. I know you can work this out and I support you whatever choice you make. And if you ever need yo be alone you can call me so I can pick up Sofia."

We let go of each other and she smiles at me. "You're such a special young lady, Riley. I bet your mother would be truly proud of you honey."

After lunch I help her clean the table and we talk for a bit. Sofia comes over and asks me if I can sing the song again that I sang for her when I babysitted her. Oh shit I don't wanna sing with more than 1 people around me. That's so scary!

But I'm afraid she won't take no for an answer. Neither does Leah. They both wanna hear the song. Okay there I go.. Let's do this. Let's embarrasse myself..

When I'm finished I hear clapping. But its not just the clapping of Leah and Sofia. From behind my back I hear one more person's hands clapping. I quikly turn around and see... I see... Oh. My. God...

I can't breathe. I see... JENNIFER FUCKING LOPEZ!!
