Chapter 2

Earth here I Come- Part One

Clarke POV-

I watch as the Arc grows further away I try to steady my breathing as I heardle through space at a spread I don't even want to think about when I see the window starting to crack.
"I'm going to die" I say to myself trying to talk my way through what happening when my pod suddenly losses power and goes up in fire.

I can see earth the white of the ground growing nearer by the second when we inpack the ground and my body flys forward resulting in me smashing my head against the now broken glass.
I look through the broken window with blurred vision and all I see is white covering the ground when my head grows so painful I pass out.

Later-

I open my eyes and there instantly blinded by the bright yellow sun I look out of the pod to see green and white. Grass and Snow! I think, I unbuckle myself jumping out the pod and falling to the ground with a thud completely forgetting about my sore head which is now pounding!

I look around for Octavia or at least her pod but I can't see it or her anywhere!

"Octavia!" I scream at the top of my lungs hoping to find my new Sister. I scream for about twenty minutes and nothing.

It strange if the earth is soaked in radiation why am I not dead and how is it so beautiful but cold. Im freezing this is a cold like I've never felt.
That when I hear a noise a russle in the trees I look around and then I see a Boy! A human Boy!

"Hello!" I say walking towards him and he suddenly pulls out a sword, I quickly step back stumbling. But he continue to approach with his sword facing me. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to do anything, please don't hurt me"i says almost begging the dark hair boy in front of me. He cocks his head looking at me his pricing blue eyes searching mine, he must be older then me maybe 17/18 years old and he obviously very muscular.

"You speak the tone of the warriors!" His voice is deep and his sword is still pressed against my chest. "What's your name child?" His voice is cold and him face is colder.

"C..Clarke" I say nervously and the boy pull his sword away and I take the breath I didn't know I was holding, the boy looks around and then back at me. "And yours?"

"Roan" he says offering me a hand which I take.

"This is amazing people live on the earth!" I say excitedly looking around and Roan just looks confused. "I came from space and we thought the earth was not survivable!" I say briefly explaining to him.

"Your a strange girl Clarke, come on I'm heading back to the castle, your coming with me and I'm going to introduce you to my mother" he laugh to him self.

I follow him, I mean I have nothing to lose I'm on the ground and there people alive. We walk through the woods and I'm freezing my teeth chattering and my whole body shivering, my lips are numb and my fingers are frozen!

"Here" Roan places a fur coat over my shoulder to help warm me up.

We walk for a little longer when the sound of voice and shouting and movement could be heard I saw a palace type building, like something out of a story my parents would read to me.

"This is the capital, this is Azgada, I'm the prince and my mother is the queen, she is very scary but don't show her fear if you do she'll kill you okay" he says as we walk the halls of the castle, the roof is high and the walls are coloured a red and the carpet a deeper shade of red. We approach a huge double wooden door and then there opened, we walk in and then I see her a women sat on a metal thrown she was terrifying she had a cold and evil feel about her but I chose to ignore that. I keep Roan's words in my mind.

"What is this son?" The Queen spits looking me up and down.

"The falling metal was the pod this girl traveled in. I brought her here" he say taking a step toward his mother.

"Why didn't you just kill her?" The Queen asks coldly.

"Something about her told me she could be of use. She beautiful and smart and I think she could become a great warriors with training" the prince say to him mother.

"So sky girl?" The Queen say look at me her eyes were cold as Ice (fitting) I think. "Do you think you could be an asset to the Ice nation?" She just keep the cold expression, now I see where Roan gets it from.

"Yes I believe so, my mother was a doctor so I know the basics of medicine and my farther an engineer so I'm cleaver!" I say honestly, proud of how smart I am I mean I'm top of my class.

"You know basic medicine you could definitely be useful" she says nodding at me. "I like you Girl you have a certain fire about you in your heart, you'll make a great ruler I see that now" she says fondly.

"Thank you, your highness" i say bowing before her and she smiles.

"Roan show her to a room on the top floor" Roan raises his brow but agrees and then we start to walk out.

"Girl" the Queen says and I turn to face her "what is your name"

"Clarke" I say turning on my heels and follow the prince out of the room
