The Ice Queen

Chapter 13

Octavia

I watch as Clarke leaves Lexa's tent and I make a move to head in there, the tension between them two is in missable but Clarke didn't look to happy leaving the tent.

"Lex?" I speak walking into the tent and then I see her pouring a glass of red wine and she look up at me I can see she's tired.

"O, how has Lincoln been?" She ask intently going to the subject of my partner, we take a seat at her table.

"Good he's healing well, I wanted to talk to you about the queen?" She raises a brow at me and I just continue. "Lexa, she seem worried about the whole sky people thing maybe we should be worried to after all she was in with the people when she was there" I say not quite feeling like going to war for people I hardly know much about.

"Yes I've been thinking the same but there tec could save our people from that mountain, end the threat all together and we now have a full coalition with Azgade and Skaikru we're almost certain to win" she explains and i understand her thinking about the mounting.

"I understand" I say and she just nod her head in that cold way she alway has.

"Sooo the other day she left your tent very clearly flustered what happened there?" I ask now wanting to know if my best friend made a move in my half-sister she just raises a brow and smirks.

"I have no idea what you mean" she says smugly and I know she's lying she get the little look in her eye when she lies.

"Why has Lexa been lying" Anya make both of us jump as she walks in and Lexa just glare at her and then me.

"How did" Anya cuts her off.

"You have this smug look and your eye do that thing were they kinda squint and your voice goes higher pitch only slightly but it does" she explains and Lexa just glared at us both.

"She was just about to let me what happened between her and the Ice Queen" i says and Anya 'ooo' at the information I've just give her.

"Oh yeah she 100% your type and she young and sweet definitely shouldn't have been made queen so young" Anya says and Lexa just laughs.

"You say but I was made Commander at 16 and now here I am at 21 summer with a whole coalition to back me" Lexa defended the Queen which is interesting as she doesn't defend anyone.

"Oh she definitely likes her" I say and both Anya and I chuckle.

"We need to focus, we meet the sky leader tomorrow and then we go to war who I kissed is both important" Lexa suddenly slaps a hand over her mouth and me and Anya look at each other with wide eyes and open mouths.

"You kissed her!" I squeal and she just glares at me and Anya continues to laugh.

"Yes it just kinda happened but stance then nothing has happened we've hardly even flirted the queen is very focused and tense and I don't think sleeping with her is a good idea" Lexa says completely clueless to how things would work it's clear that Clarke isn't just a kiss and run kinda girl.

"Isn't she dating her second?" Indra suddenly says walking over to the table having just joined.

"Exactly Indra is right the girl is clearly in a relationship" Anya says and Lexa jaw just tenses at the idea of the Azgade Queen being in a relationship with anyone.

"Let us focus" Lexa saddle growl and all eyes are on her and the laughing stops. "We have a war coming, we need to make a plan" she says and we all go to looking at maps and making plans for this war.

When I leave the tent it's close to meal time and I notice Clarke sat by here self, so I take a few moments to think about it but I decided to go and sit with her.

"Am I okay to sit with you?" I ask politely and Clarke just nod taking a bite of her food. I glims over to look at her and all I can think about is what she must be feeling, she new people on the Ark and she never got to say goodbye to her mother.

"How are you feeling about everything?" I ask trying to make a conversation between us she take a moment to swollow her food before speaking.

"Look I know that we share a farther but that doesn't mean you have to care about me!" She suddenly snaps and I can tell she's just trying to protect herself.

"I know" I say simple and she just sighs and shakes her head.

"I thought you had died" she says quietly, so I place my hand on her shoulder, "I thought I failed him, he asked me to keep us together and protect each other" I can hear the sadness seeping out in her voice.

"You know I refused to believe you had died" I say softly and she turns to face me big sad eyes looking at me. "I always believe you was out there, even though I saw the burnt up ship for myself" I say honestly and then with out warning she pulls me into a tight huge, in which I happily return.

"I'm sorry Octavia, maybe we can start over" she say and I nod in agreement. "It's nice to know your not dead" we both burst out laughing and she smiles softly.

"Right back at ya" i say softly.

"I'm going to see Lincoln it was great to get to know you Clarke I hope we can do this more often" I say smiling honestly.

I'm really sorry I haven't updated I've had a lot going on sadly my dad recently passed away so I don't really have time to write/ published chapters.
I really hope you guys enjoyed this chapter and I wish i could have gotten it to you guys sooner.
