6 months later

I ride through the great wood between Azgada and the capital, the sun shining as the summer airs fill the skys a soft blue and bright yellow sun lifting the spirits of the ride.
Peace has been found across the lands of all 13 clans, the clans have all joined as one under the great Command, she did what she always promised created peace across all lands.

I see the great walls of Polis coming into sight, you can hear the roars of laughter and life coming from the great capitals city. The gates are opened as we ride in, I can see the command approaching as we ride towards the tower.
Children run and play the market filled like never before, men, women and children from all clans are here working together calling the capital there home.

"Your majesty" Lexa smiles openly as I dismount my horse, I return the smile as I approach her.

"Heda" I breathes softly before I'm met with her lips on mine. "I've missed you my love" I speak as I pull away from our kiss.

"And I you hodnes" her eyes meet with mine, a softness like never before peace has brought us one great thing.

Love...

"Azgada is well, the trading between clans has brought the kingdom back to life" I speak as we walk into the tower.

"I'm glad and Roan?" She ask looking back at me "he's taken well to being king?" She says raising her brow

"Yes, he's taken it well" I smile at her. "And so have I my love, I'm happy to be your queen here in Polis" she share the same love filled smile as her eyes shine.

"The people see him as a true king as he is, and I much prefer the warmth of these lands" we both chuckle as we come to our bedroom on the top floor of the very tall tower.

"I'm happy to live here in the capital as your wife my love" I reassure her. Lexa worries I'll grow bored here as the second in command but honestly I wasn't fond of being queen anyways.

"I'm glad to hear that Ai Hodnes" Lexa says smiling as me we walk out to the balcony and look over our people.

"The Ice Queen no more" I say softly.

"No you are now the wife of the commander" I hear the familiar sound of my sister voice

"Yes and you are our second how life has been good to us dear sister" I say turning to see her and her new born son in her arms.

"Peace suits you" Octavia's says smiling down at her son.

And peace did suit not just one person but the whole land, children played, instead of trained and warrior retired rather than died.
Lexa Commands is long and well lived, her children take command and her children's children, they get to grow up knowing nothing but peace amongst all there people.
They'll hear stories of the Great War at the mounting that brought them peace but they should never know what it was like.

****

And that bring an end to this story I really did enjoy writing it but after some serious family stuff I'm afraid I let it down and it could have been more but sadly I lost my enjoyment for this storyline half way through but you guys deserve an ending.
I wish I could have given this story then ending and fire it deserves and when I eventually come back to writing properly I know it will be with a story I won't let down!.

I want to say a huge thank you to all have had stuck by me with the irregular updates and not my favourite ending but I hope you enjoyed it as much as I didn't writing as I really do love to write.
