I started this story at the beginning of my Sophmore year of high school and I'm finishing it my junior year of college 😭😭 literally this fic came out before chat gpt I think (not that I use it for my fics, it's just so crazy to think about).
Fact #1:
For Armin's car, I tried to pick the dorkiest car I could think of that would suit his personality. I realize I became a symbol of constancy throughout the story. No matter what it was always there like an eyesore. Armin's personality is an eyesore but people love him anyway. Some of you found that funny which is funny to me lol.
Fact #2:
I'm not attracted to Armin. I'm the biggest Jean simp in history. I wrote this because I had the idea for two kids competing for valedictorian and Armin fit the best. Also my friend loves him so I partly wrote this for her. (She never ended up reading it 😭)
Fact #3:
I put Jean, Connie, Sasha, Marco and Niccolo in a friend group because I think in a perfect world they would all be super close. Niccolo is the friend they (friendly) bully but before he was initiated into the friend group it was Connie. And of course youre part of the friend group because they are the best ever.
Fact #4:
I was 16 when I began writing this. I hadn't gone to prom so that part of the story was completely left out. Ugh that would've been such a banger chapter too. My prom was so boring though the real fun was laser tag and ihop and getting drunk after the event. I also didn't know how much work college applications were gonna be or else I would have made it such a bigger deal.
