Ires POV :

I woke up the next day, get dressed, did my usual morning routine, then I tried to wake Emma up so we can go to school, "Emma, come on we're going to be late"

I failed, she didn't want to wake up, Mary, Emma's big sister heard me yelling at Emma
She came and said:
- she didn't wake up, did she??
- yes, and we're going to be late because of her
- Emmmmmmmmmmmaaaaa"

I was surprise of what Mary just did, she screamed louder,
But it did work, Emma got up and said "you both are dead"
Mary wished us a nice day and left

We were late for school as I expected, we didn't catch the first periode, we sat at the stadium stairs talking,
Emma said:
"- so, what are we going to do about that bitch Lisa??
- I have bigger problems than this to deal with
- are you kidding me?? Come on Ris we have to do something
- OK, OK !!! GOD
- so, what's the plan??
- mmm.. I am going to talk to her??
- well, that's the most boring plan I have ever heard of

I rolled my eyes at her then she added:
"- tomorrow, we have a sports class and I have a plan for revenge, a good one
- wait, what, a sports class??
- oh, didn't you check your phone last night?? They changed the school schedule
- shit, I don't have my sportswear, I will have to go home today

The bill rang, we had to go to class, Adrien wasn't there, I sat down next to Emma, then he came, he sat behind us, and said:

I am sooo tired of this but I have to be strong no matter what
I was sure what Adrien would tell me would shock me
I was lost in thoughts during classes, I don't remember most of the talk

After school, I left with Adrien, he parked the car on the side of one of the streets and said:
"- I am going to tell you everything because I know you're strong and you can handle what I am going to say
- I am not sure about that anymore but come on tell me, please
- yes, you're father worked with my family, he was my dad's friend, he saved us from losing everything, some bad people hated him for that, so they killed him
- wait, what??

- no, I thought that my father died in a car accident or that's what my mother told me

- how do you want me to calm down when I just found that my all life was a big lie

- we don't know, it was the same mafia that killed my mother"

Adrien hugged me trying to confort me, I wanted to cry and yell but I didn't, I didn't want him to see me collapsed, I told him to take me home and so he did

I went inside as he left, my mom was sitting on the couch, she didn't look well
When Eric saw me he shouted "Ires?"
My mom got up and they both hugged me tightly
Eric was talking when I zoned out while I was looking into my mom's eyes

I didn't say a word, I went upstairs to my room, it didn't take my mother so long to follow me, as she came inside she said:
"- I was worried about you sweetheart
- Adrien told me everything mom, you can't imagine how much I wanted you to tell me about it
- I am sorry, I just wanted to protect you, I wanted you to live a normal life, i thought if I hide the past you will live happily
- but instead, you hurt me, I felt untrusted mom
- I didn't mean to make you fell like that, Ires, baby, I want you to understand my worries
- I do mom
- I am Sorry sweetie, I love you so much
- I love you too mom"

When she left the room, I started crying, I felt alone and empty

Being home made my feelings grown worse, so I decided to go out

I was walking in the streets thinking about what worse could happen, those days were really tough especially for me
I took my phone to find out that Luca and Adrien called me about ten times

I called Luca and said:
"- hey
- tell me where are you??
- is everything OK
- fuck it Ires, just tell me where are you
- I am at the bridge
- stay there, we're coming
- wait, we???
- Adrien and I, genius!!
- but why??"

And like that he hang up in my face, I stood there
They showed up a few minutes later,
Luca took my hand and said
"you're coming with me now"

Adrien pulled me away and replied:
"- she's not going anywhere with you
Ires: what's going on??
Luca: your life is in danger, that is what going on, and it is clear that my brother is not giving a damn
Adrien: of course I care, she's my girlfriend
Luca: yeh, right
Adrien: actually, I don't understand why you are so worried??
Luca: because... Her father was a man of honor, he saved my family and now it's my turn to save his
Ires: is some one going to explain this to me??
Adrien: I kind of gave up mentioning a small part of the story
Ires: which is??
Adrien: if the gang that killed your father find out about you, they will probably kill you too
Luca: that's why you're coming to stay in my apartment until we figure out something
Adrien: no, your apartment is not protected, she will stay in my father's house
Luca: are you insane, your going to get her to a house full of mafia men and worse, where your father is living??
Ires: I am not going with anyone"

Luca's features suddenly changed
Adrien looked at him and said:
- what is it??
Luca:there is something wrong
Ires: what?
Luca: We're under surveillance, some one is been following us
Ires: Luca we are the only ones here
Luca: not from here, From a farther away place
Ires: how??

After that I don't remember things clearly, it was like a nightmare, everything was fast
Adrien pushed me away screaming
" Ires look out"
Then he fall between my arms,
He was hit by a gunshot, I freaked out as I saw his blood, as for Luca, he called the ambulance then he went after the shooter

I hold Adrien crying and when he Close his eyes, I yelled
" no, no, stay with me, stay with me please wake up, Adrien, don't leave me please, I need you, I really do, I am begging you stay with me"

Will Adrien be fine??
