"You are Williams brother?" Masayoshi stares at the ravenette, blond, and brunette. Ace, Marco, and Thatch. They think she's going to continue speaking but all she does is continue to stare until they begin to shift uneasily. Masayoshi doesn't react the slightest, turning her back on them and walking towards the exit of the ship.
Ace's head bursts on fire and he chases after her, the marine merely walking slightly faster until she finds herself sprinting away from a human fireball. One that continues to dislike her even if all she desires is to ignore him for her own sake. When Ace manages to catch her he tackles her to the ground prompting a sigh of annoyance to leave the marine. She struggles to push him off and eventually grows annoyed, however when she raises her fist to strike the second commander, they're pulled away from each other. Marco holding his brother and Thatch holding her.
Masayoshi whips away from the brunettes grip so fast they would think he was burning. She glares at him and huffs, pulling her hands through the sleeve of the brand-new marine vest that fluttered with each step she took to the exit. Once more, she's stopped.
"Stay for a while, child."
"No, I don't like any of you." Her fists clench until they're white. "I still dislike pirates, I'll only tolerate you because you're Williams... family."
That word... Silver eyes cast down and stare at the wooden floor for a moment. Yet another thing he taught me.
She snaps out of it before anyone can comment, then looks at the family and frowns at them. Masayoshi searches the entire crews expressions-- so many of them looked upset or irritated by her presence and it only made her decision to dislike these pirates, even stronger. Then, she searched for the deeper emotions. The sadness, frustration, sympathy, pity, guilt.
She faces the brown haired one when she senses the emotions, pursing her lips and searching his features. The more she stared at the fourth division commander, the more she began to understand that William truly was loved by this family. Thatch was staring at her in a way that seemed he was grateful-- so grateful, that she was there for William but upset that he wasn't.
There was a flicker of blond in front of her before she quickly bit down on her tongue. She turned around and pinched the bridge of her nose, ignoring the silver that dribbled down her cheek from her eye. It was strange, tears had fallen down on her left eye ever since William had passed but had never left her right eye. He was truly her second half.
Masayoshi clicked her tongue and glared at all of the pirates. "You have until midnight to leave."
"We're taking William."
Her reply was almost instant, as if she wasn't the person speaking. Masayoshi hadn't even processed her words after she spoke them.
"Like hell you are," And the pirates were suddenly on guard, save for a few who fell to the ground- from what, she wasn't sure. But her arms remained crossed, like she didn't care for the knives and swords and guns drawn, ready to be pointed at and used against her. There was a change to her voice, more deadly and angered than it had ever been. For once in her life, Masayoshi wasn't thinking. As if all logic was tossed out the window when it came to William--when it came to her lover. "You can't take him from the place he's lived in for years. The place where he was loved while all of you were busy travelling and having fun!"
And once more, the atmosphere shifts and theres a heavy weighing of guilt.
"That's my son," Pop's growled on his chair. "it doesn't matter what happened, nothing will change that he is my son. I will be taking him to a place where he can truly rest."
