FIVE|THE BROTHER AND THE LOVER
"Steve?" Bernadette rushed through the front door of the Harrington residence, trying to find her brother. "Where are you?"
"I'm in my room." Steve called out to her, his voice echoing around the large home. Birdie ran up the stairs, bursting into the bedroom dramatically.
"Hey, what's wrong?" She sat down on the edge of his bed, noticing a dark gloom surrounding him. "What happened?"
"Nancy told me she doesn't love me." He revealed, sighing sadly as he leaned back against his headboard. "She called our relationship "bullshit"."
"That doesn't sound like Nancy at all." Birdie stared at him confused, wondering if he had heard her correctly.
"She got drunk at the Halloween party and decided to spill her guts before literally spilling her guts." Steve explained, using hand gestures to emphasise his point. "I just thought we were doing so well. I love her so much."
"Stevie." She moved closer to him, embracing her brother as she rubbed circles on his back. "Fate is a funny thing and if she truly is the one then you two will make it through all the bumps in the road."
"Thank you, oh wise one." He chuckled at his nickname for her. "Are you coming to watch basketball practice tomorrow?"
"Yeah, Lilly is dragging me along so she can watch her boyfriend play." She patted his head before standing up, wishing him a quick "good night".
Bernadette pulled her shorts further down her legs, trying to cover up the bruises on her thighs she hadn't realised were there until it was too late. She silently cursed the boy for having such a strong grip on her legs, praying her brother didn't notice as she sat beside him while he drove them to school.
"Don't get into any fights!" Steve called out after her as she jumped out the car, quickly rushing to find her two best friends.
"No promises!" She yelled back, immediately spotting Valarie sat on the bonnet of her car. "What's up, beautiful?"
"How late do we think Lilly will be?" Val chuckled, moving over to allow Birdie to sit beside her. Just as Birdie sat beside her a white car sped into the car park, brakes squealing as it parked beside the two girls.
"Luke let me know last night that it's Harrington against Hargrove." Lilly jumped out her car, excitedly skipping up to the pair. "Let's go! I don't want to miss this!"
"Okay, we're going." The two laughed as they followed after Lillian into the gymnasium. The three girls sat on the bleachers, all watching the boys play shirts versus skins.
Bernadette couldn't keep her eyes off Billy, still in disbelief about his words to her at the party. She watched the sweat trailed down his tanned chest, light scratch marks still etched on his skin.
Billy wandered over to the three girls, standing in front of Birdie with a smirk playing on his lips.
"This next one is for you." He winked at her, lifting her chin so she would meet his stare. His team yelled out to him, warning him to get his head back in the game.
"I hope you miss." She called out to him with a chuckle. The three girls watched as Billy easily took the ball off Steve, dribbling it over to the net before throwing it under his leg and landing it in the basket. He made sure Steve was watching as he ran over to Birdie, leaving a quick but heated kiss on her lips.
"What the fuck just happened?" Val and Lilly turned to stare at Birdie with disbelief once Billy had walked away.
"I don't know but I like it." Birdie grinned before noticing Steve's disapproving look. Her eyes moved over his shoulder, noticing Nancy hovering at the enterance of the gymnasium. "Shit, this won't be good."
"Trouble in paradise?" Lilly asked a little too excitedly, peering into Birdies soul for an answer.
Bernadette sat on the edge of her seat, unable to concentrate on the game as she watched Steve follow Nancy outside. She ignored the nudges her friends gave her, both telling her that Billy was staring. Steve was clearly angry when he returned, walking away from Billy's taunts as he went back to playing basketball and losing.
"Stevie, are you okay?" Birdie ran over to her brother once practice had finished, worried about what Nancy had said to him.
"Not now, Birdie." Steve brushed off her worried questions. "Go bother your asshole of a boyfriend."
"Billy!" She called out as she burst into the boys changing room, ignoring the squeals of surprise about a girl being in there. "Where is he?"
"In the showers." Jason pointed her in the right direction, smirking as he watched the Queen Bee bound towards the shower room.
"Are you lost, beautiful?" Billy chuckled as he spotted Birdie stood by the enterance, arms folded over her chest with an unimpressed look on her face. "These are the boys showers."
"Everyone out." Birdie ordered causing the boys to all reluctantly leave the showers except Billy.
"Smith, make sure no one enters." He called out to Luke. "So, what can I do for you?"
"What the hell are you doing?" She slipped off her shoes and wandered towards him, trying to ignore his naked state. "You tell everyone about us hooking up at the party and then you use me to get into my brother's head?"
"Get on your knees." His tone was serious as he stared her straight in her amber eyes. Her mouth fell open in surprise, speechless as she debated what to say next. "I said, get on your knees."
Bernadette quickly complied, her knees becoming soaked as she kneeled before him, his hand on her chin, forcing her to look into his eyes.
"That's my good girl." Billy pressed his thumb between her lips, forcing her to open her mouth wide. He gripped his hard cock, fisting himself slightly before slowly slipping it into her mouth.
Birdie gagged on the size, tears gathering in the corner of her eyes as she bobbed her head back and forth. His fingers slipped through her curly hair, grasping it tightly as he directed the speed.
"I told you already, you're fucking mine."
