Avengers react to Natasha

Chapter 6: CAWS - Public Displays of Affection

Nat: "Drive is a level 6 homing program so as soon as we boot up, S.H.I.E.L.D. will know exactly where we are."

Steve:" How much time do we have?"

Nat: "About nine minutes from... Now."

"oooh tension." Tony snickers.

Pepper elbows him once again.

She continues.

"This drive is protected by some sort of A.I., It keeps rewriting itself to counter my commands."

S:"You override it?"

N: "The person that developed this is slightly smarter than me. Slightly."

"I'm gonna try running a tracer. This is a program that S.H.I.E.L.D. developed to track hostile malware so if we can't read the file, maybe we can find out where is came from."

A store employee walks up to them. "Can I help you guys with anything?"

N: "Oh, no my fiancé was just helping me with some honeymoon destinations."

"Congrats Capsicle."

Yelena narrows her eyes at Steve. Nat just pats her head. "Be good Lena."

S: "Right we are getting married."

"You couldn't be more awkward could you?" Clint laughs.

E:" Cangratulations. Where you thinking about?"

S:"New Jersey." He said, looking at the computer.

E: "huh. I have the exact same glasses!"

N: "Wow you two are practically twins."

The screen shows Rumlow searching through the Mall.

R:" Give me a floor rundown."

Guard: "Negative on 3."

Back to natasha and steve still in the shop.

S: "You said nine minutes, C'mon."

N: Shhh, Relax. Got it."

Steve recognises the location.

N:" You know it."

S:"Used to." He take the flash drive.

Bucky looks up and his face flashes with recognition too.

S:"Stay in your tage team. 2 behind, 2 across, 2 straight at us. If they make us, ill engage. You hit the south escalator at the metro."

N:"shut up and put your arm around me, laugh at something I said,"

S:"what?"

N:"Just do it."

He does what she said with an awkward laugh.

"Nevermind, I was mistaken, this is more awkward."

Guard:" Negative at the source." As he looks through the shop window.
R:"Give me a floor rundown."

G1: "negative on 3"

G2: "negative on 2"

R: "Snake the upper levels, work down to me."

Rumlow get onto the escalator and Nat spots him, so she spins to face Steve.

"Kiss me."

S:" What..?"

N: "public displays of affection make people very uncomfortable."

S: "yes they do."

Nat kisses Steve and Rumlow looks away awkwardly.

Yelena tenses and takes Natasha's hand in protection.

"Your possessive today Lena. Its ok."

N: "You still uncomfortable?"

"I am!" Peter complains.

They walk away to safety.
