I ended up wearing Lucas's t-shirt back to my house where to his disapproval I changed to my top.

My mate was proving to be very stubborn, refusing to allow me to wear another males sweatshirt. It was amusing that he was jealous of an article of clothing.

Joey met us at my house. He was smug as ever while Lucas was tense and annoyed with him.

Together we walked through the woods to the designated clearing. It was filled with members from both packs but just as last time they were divided.

"New pairings today." Dustin announced as he and Lucas stood in the center. My father and Alpha Robert opted to give their sons another try at controlling the packs.

Dustin read off the new pairs. I was shocked to find that I was once again with Brenda. She walked to the middle, face emotionless. Her size was intimidating. I knew she had to be a trained fighter with way more experience then I had. However I was of alpha blood, giving me an advantage.

I met her and held eye contact. She sneered in disgust before walking off obviously expecting me to follow. Raising an eyebrow I shared a look with a cautious Lucas before going after her.

Not that I wanted to start playing titles but that was no way to treat an alphas daughter.

"So your a fighter right?" I asked attempting to make conversation. It was clear she was a fighter. She could be a line backer for the NFL with how broad she was. Her eyes flickered down to me before focusing on the Alphas again without answering. "Okay then.." I muttered and looked away.

"You guys may begin!" Dustin announced. Joey and his partner were right next to us and I could feel his protective stare. Lucas was also lingering near by. Dustin seemed to be the only one with confidence in me and I was grateful for that.

I turned back to Brenda who was already charging towards me. My eyes widened as I was tackled to the ground. My face to the grass she lifted my hands behind my back and sat on my legs so I was unable to move them.
She was painfully squeezing my wrists and I knew I had to figure a way out of her hold before one of the guys intervened.

Using all my strength I managed to twist in her hold. My wolf nails extracted and I clawed at her hands until she released my wrists. We both jumped up and she furiously examined the scratch marks I gave her. A little dirty, but they would heal.

She came at me again and I ducked, blocking a punch. She was much taller than I was, an obvious advantage, but it helped me too because I could move quickly around her.

We continued this, blocking a few more punches here and there, I was able to
get some in, but rarely to her face.

Lucas came over to demonstrate a defensive tactic. When he was gone she went to punch me again but I spun out of the way and kicked her stomach.

She groaned as I knocked the wind out of her, bending over to clutch her stomach. "Oh shit I'm so sorry!" I went to help her up and see if she was okay. She let out a hiss and I felt terrible. "Are you alright? I swear I didn't mean for it to hit that hard."

I placed a hand on her back, leaning down to get a look at her face. Immediately she stood up, sending an upper cut to my jaw and another to my chin. The force and shock of the blow sent me stumbling backwards landing on my butt.

"Ouch." I groaned rubbing my reddened jaw.

She unexpectantly jumped on me, her knee hitting my stomach and fists sent blow after blow to my face. I could vaguely see Lucas appear, grabbing her throat and slamming her to the ground.
