Katie's pov:

That day when I walked out of the hospital wing I went back to my dorm and cried.

I talked with Landon the next day, I told him about everything Cedric said and about the kiss. He was sad but said that it was good I told him. We stayed friends, at first it was a little awkward but then it got better.

Ava and Sebastian, I don't think they'll ever break up. If they don't get married I don't know what.

Hermione and Ron got together. FINALLY.

Mia is still single but she told me that she likes it. She doesn't want to think about relationships. And when I asked if she would be interested in Landon she just started laughing so I guess not.

And me? Not much.

I've tried to let Cedric go but even after not talking to him for months my heart always skips a beat when I see him.

Always.

He looks more happy. He and Sebastian have grown closer and they've started hanging out with more people. He finally has good friends.

Justin always sits alone, not even Draco wants to be with him and he's rude as well.

Tomorrow we're going home. I'm never coming back to Hogwarts. It makes me a little sad. But it will be nice with a change.

There was a last party tonight. I decided to go a little bold and wore a red silk dress that sat tight. It had a v-neck and showed a bit of cleavage. I put extra time on my makeup and when Mia was done as well we walked to where the party was held.

I had a great time but I got tired after a while and walked over to a window. I opened it and was met with cold air hitting my face. I inhaled and looked around the party.

A guy with cigarettes walked by and I asked for one.

And now I was standing next to the window, smoking.

"I thought you told me not to smoke." A voice I haven't heard in a while said.

Cedric stood next to me and I exhaled the smoke.

He gently grabbed my hand and took the cigarette from me and threw it out of the window.

"It's not worth it trust me." He murmured.

I studied him for a while and he looked at me as well.

"How are you Katie?"

"Good." I shrugged. I wasn't.

"How are you feeling about leaving the school?"

"It will be nice with a new life but knowing that I probably won't see you much more makes me hate it." I said in a quiet voice.

His eyes softened and he was about to say something but I beat him to it.

"You know this time away from you I never thought about the bet and how to forgive you. I thought about how difficult it would be to leave you and how much I'll miss you. Because I've missed you, so much." I whispered the last part.

I didn't care that I admitted to this, I just wanted him to know.

"Really?" He asked and walked closer to me.

"You've proven enough that you regret the bet and that you really like me. That's all I needed." I said and looked up at him now that he was right in front of me.

"You don't know how long I've wanted to hear that. All I've wanted was for you to be happy and forgive me." He took my hand in his and kissed it.

"I'm complete with you Katie. You're my everything." He said in a low voice.

I smiled and couldn't wait anymore I circled my arms around his neck as I kissed him hard. He stumbled back a little but got his balance back and held his hands around my waist and kissed me back. Our tongues graced each other's and I moaned in his mouth. His hands roamed all over my body and I had my hands in his hair. We kept kissing, I wasn't able to stop. I've missed this too much.

"Fucking finally." Ava said and startled both of us.

She went up and hugged me and I laughed at how excited she was. Sebastian laughed as well.

"Finally we can all speak again." He chuckled in relief.

"That we can." Cedric said and sneaked an arm around my waist.

I rested my head on his shoulder and saw Mia talking to a girl. They both laughed and that made me smile.

"Hey where's Mia?" Ava asked.

"No let her be." I said nodding my head towards Mia and that girl.

Ava smiled and held her hand in front of her mouth and did an excited little dance.

Now I was complete as well.

When we waited for the train the next day Mia came up to us with that girl from the other night.

"Um you guys this is Lauren." She smiled.

We all greeted her and she seemed really sweet.

So much for not wanting to be in a relationship.

On the way back I played with Cedric's hair while talking to the other ones. We promised to keep contact.

Me and Cedric didn't know what to do, only that we wanted to be with each other.

It might've started with a bet but it ended with a choice, and I know this was my best choice.

Loving him will always be my favourite thing. Because it will always be him.

A/N: that's it. this has been a journey, i've sometimes felt like ending the book but i'm happy that i didn't.

i hope that you liked it and that you liked katie and cedric's story and aren't unhappy with anything.
