2 Months later:

Things seemed to be getting better with you. Stephen/dad was helping you with your depression. Somehow he managed to get you anti-depressants (don't ask how) and he gave you some headphones and an ipod to listen to music. After trying to find somehow to relax and not feel so suicidal he found that music was the best release for you so, he gave you his old ipod and headphones. Anytime you were feeling sad or suicidal...you would drown out the bad thoughts with music. It might not have been the absolute best method but it worked for the most part.

You also worked on harnessing your power to its full potential harnessing your energy from the power stone. You could tell he would get nervous occasionally due to the strength of your power even without the stone so you suspected he would never let you take it back.

You would have weekly talks with him just about how you were feeling, he called it therapy. He encouraged you to wear short sleeves around the monastery just so that he knew you weren't cutting or harming yourself in any way, but you seemed to be getting a lot better. He still hasn't let you leave the monastery, the only times you had left was through a portal into another building. You hadn't seen the sun in a long time, but you were used to it. You never saw it at the bad place.

You still had nightmares but they began to lessen after the medication and the noise machine he got you. It didn't seem like that big of a deal but somehow, it helped you sleep. Every single night, he would come into your room, turn on the noise machine, tuck you in, and turn off the lights, "I love you." Having this every night helped you establish a simple routine and you somehow had less stress. But the nightmares didn't completely stop. They still occurred, but this time...it was something new.

Now: (note: if you have watched season four of Stranger things, I'm basing the next character off one 001/Peter Ballard, I have developed a fictional crush on him so yeah...anyways I'm not spoiling the show but I'm basing the character off of him).

It was the same recurring dream every night.

You woke up in the same room you had spent your whole life in. You heard a knock at the door but you knew who it was. It wasn't the bad man, it was the one who was nice to you. He helped you harness your power. He opened the door and smiled kindly, "Are you ready, M?" You nodded as you hopped out of bed following him. He could tell you were nervous so he stopped you and bent down to your level, "It's going to be okay. You'll do great today. Just remember what I taught you." You nodded and continued to follow him into the testing room. He put the monitors over your head and left the room but before he left he smiled at you and mouthed, "You've got this." You nodded as the bad men began to test on you. You remembered to harness your powers in the way he had taught you. Then, he took you back to your room, but instead of leaving, he stayed in your room for a minute and sat on your bed to talk with you. He said, "You know M, you remind me of someone." You looked at him confused as he continued. There was an alphabet in your room and he pointed to the letter A.

You looked at him in shock, "There's more?"

He nodded and said, "Yeah. Subject A was very powerful, almost as much as you. He found a way to harness his power but...he became too strong."

You interrupted, "What happened to him?"

He looked down at the ground and sighed, "That's a story for another day."

You then asked, "What happened to the others?"

He answered, "They weren't strong enough, they had no use." You looked at him petrified as he said, "You have nothing to worry about M, you're strong."

Then, you would wake up. It wasn't much of a nightmare but it wasn't a dream. It was more like a vision from your past. But this was every night, for the past month. You debated on telling your father about it, but you didn't want to worry him any more so you just continued your days like any other.

Until today...today changed everything. It started out as a normal day. You got up, got ready, went downstairs to eat breakfast. Then, you went to go train for a bit with your dad and he helped you gain more power. He also taught you more spells. Once you were done he said, "Go read some and you can relax the rest of the day." You nodded and went up to your room to read. You got through about half of the book when you decided that it was enough.

You decided to put in your headphones and listen to some music to relax. You turned it on louder than normal...that was your first mistake. A few songs in, you began to hear sounds of struggle coming from the main room.

You thought that maybe your dad was just working on some spells but when the sounds became more aggressive, you took out your headphones to see what the problem was. You carefully opened the door to your room and saw your dad being pushed up against the wall of the monastery. He seemed to be short of breath and struggling to escape whatever it was keeping him there. You continued to walk into the middle of the stairway to see what it was and that's when you saw it.

At the bottom of the stairs was the man who had helped you for all of those years you were held captive, the one you had been having recurring dreams about every night. You looked at him in shock as he asked, "M? What are you doing here?"

You looked at him horrified as you saw his shirt splattered in blood and his psychotic eyes. You then yelled, "Let him go! Please!"

He chuckled and pushed him even further into the wall, "I don't think I can do that." He paused and said, "I've been looking for you for a very long time M."

You screamed once more, "WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME? LET HIM GO!"

He shook his head and evilly grinned, "No, I can't do that. Just come with me."

You then began to feel a strong pull, pulling your entire body towards him. You quickly used your powers to try to push him off balance but he didn't allow that to happen.

You looked down at your hands in shock thinking you lost your power but his next words shocked you, "You know, you remind me of someone." He gave you a smirk and said, "Remember me telling you about subject A."

You looked at your father who was extremely puzzled as you said, "No...you can't be-"

He nodded as you felt your body being pulled towards the stairs again, "Come with me now M, we have some work to do."

You screamed back at him, "NO! LET ME GO!"

Then, you were being lifted up into the air and you felt as if your airways were being tightened and you couldn't breathe.
